I've been laddering with lots of zergs recently and they seem to all use this build of max supply roach rush. Maybe stargate would work or maybe the additional gateways but is there like some tips or replays which i can refer to to get some advantage on this? thanks i'm a toss player
i have been noticing alot of protoss got for 4-6 gates with very heavy sentry and stalker and Some immortals mixed in to be holding it off very well... very good defence,.
Means the ze4rg has to be really macroing for it to work in their favor

TL;DR ~3 Immortals (1 robo) ~6 gates, Good forcefields while getting a 3rd is the best way to play it. or you can all in. (at least thats the way i like to play it.)
Opps im sorry i didnt know there was a thread for this. Could you link me to it or something i can't seem to find it. Anyways do you have replays which i can refer to at maybe masters or grandmasters where the zerg is doing a max roach. thanks

Air won't help. Voidrays don't kill the roaches fast enough. I would suggest going immortal sentry w/ gateways and cannons early. Later add in Colossi and Voidrays.
do not go mass air, sure roach cant kill voidrays, but if they kill all your shit it doesnt matter.
you need to sim city well, and land your FF well. remember this is an all in from the zerg, if you hold your third you will have a ridiculous advantage and should win the game (there are non all in varietys, a lot of them are a push while taking 4th/infestation pit) but the stephano variety (no 4th no tech just roach ling)
do not go mass air, sure roach cant kill voidrays, but if they kill all your shit it doesnt matter.

Its not an all in, its part of the build. You go fast max so that you have a BIGGER army, not a STRONGER army. You use this army to deal with most mid-game and early-game attacks while you tech up to Hive. You can easily recover from losing your army since your sitting on 3-4 bases.

youre going to be stuck on roach... and if he sim city and FF perfectly youll do no dmg, then youre stuck on roach to defend his +2 sentry immortal 170-180 pop push. youre not going to have hive, you wont have enough spine/infestor energy and you will either have to try a half assed counter attack, or lose. its all in.
most important thing is to position your buildings / wall so the distance your units have to travel to defend between natural and 3 is minimized, a lot of toss jsut put their buildings way further out to wall
