I am happy I could help the people I did, it was fun and enjoyable, and now I will focus my time back on practice for myself. I will resurrect this thread if I am opening coaching again soon.
Hello all!
Many of you don't know me, but I'm TTneKo of nRv gaming, I'm a mid Grandmaster Zerg on SEA currently practicing on the Korean server, and I'm here to say I'm finally making an effort.
What do I mean by making an effort? Giving back to Sc2SEA and finally trying prove that I'm worth something to the community.
Back before New Years I had this big plan that I wanted to try and help out sc2sea and become a “role model”. Fast forward a month later and I've given absolutely no attempts to try. So here I am
#1 From now on I will be offering a free coaching service to the Zerg players of sc2sea from Bronze to Grandmaster, I don't care what rank or league you are in, I'm in it to help you guys out.
Why should you choose me?
It's an interesting question, because I'm really not here to sell myself and try to steal coaching away from others, but if you want a few reasons here are some
-I'm a great and hard-working player,
-I'm an extremely mechanically focused player, I spend all my time practicing proper match-up builds/styles and keep focus away from the all-ins and cheese. So when I teach mechanics/builds be assured that I have spent a lot of time playing and working on them.
-I've come from 4 years of competitive sporting and I highly understand how the mentality of students is, and how coaches should be (I won't bite though )
-Starcraft is my love, I do everything I can to involve myself in every way possible, and doing this only motivates me further.
-I respect the players. Personally, I want to train hard enough to become one of the best players SEA has got, some people may disrespect me for it or put me down for it, and that's fine. So I can understand when a player comes up to me and aspires to be the best as well. I have a great respect for people who can openly tell me their goals.
As a personal note I'd like to say that I'm not here for money, I currently work an odd 25-30 hours and week so cash is never really a motivation to do something like this. Maybe in the far future I might start charging, but that's something that I will deal with when I deem necessary.
Cool enough gloating! Here’s how I plan to run every lesson.
#Analyse a replay which I want to be their main problem (ex Stargate play in zvp). So I get a good understanding of the issue, and how they are dealing with it at the moment.
#Spend a small amount of time discussing said problems and how they feel about the reactions to it.
#If there is no problem, just lack of build order, I'll spend that time going through a build order with them.
#Run through the build with an extremely high focus on mechanics/macro for about 30 or so minutes.
#Find a practice partner to quickly play out one or two games in attempt to flush out the build a bit.
#Sending you notes on what I believe should be improved, and also sending you the build order we practiced.
All of this is subject to change if I feel it is not adequate in the future.

Coaching side done!
#2 I plan to run a weekly show in which I help players understand the styles and “meta game” of a certain match-up. This includes a detailed breakdown of the style (for example Muta play in ZvP) and discussing its strengths (and how we can abuse them) and it's weaknesses (with help on how to patch these up)
I plan on running replay analyses of both pro level replays and possibly lower level replays to help describe common mistakes that everybody makes and how to play each style to its strength.
I don't want this show to be a pro-elitist style thing where we laugh at everybody's mistakes and faults in games, I want this to be a show where high-level players can contribute and discuss what they think about the style. As well as (and with a big emphasis) helping out players who feel lost in match-ups. I want them to be able to be able to watch this show and learn new builds and strategies.
Well, I think that is it for now. If I feel I can do anything else I'll update the thread, but if not then I hope sc2sea enjoys my upcoming contribution to the site!
Also please PM me if I mess up the thread or suck at English, it's not my strong point.
