This BSG is meant more for fun, but Im having to change the map pool heaps because apparently it needs to be competitive. It'll be fairly balanced, chill.

Yea but I'm an extremely competitive gamer and this is the only tournament I can be competitive in. Keep it the same if you want it's your tournament but I'm just saying from a competitive point of view..

You cant play competitively at your level. Sure, you can WORK HARD on improving, but no. Cant play competitively.

This is only 1 time. If it doesn't work out, we won't do it again. If you seriously don't like it, simple solution is don't join this week, but next, when we get our normal map pool back again.

Most BSG level players predominantly play ladder. Considering that and seeing as BSG is about learning it makes sense for it to use the ladder maps.

Having said that: Mixing it up for some fun is always good too! I mean, funday mondays are awesome =D

What i believe is that, In the only BSG i took part, most of my opponents couldn't macro properly(until semi-finals). regardless of map. in go in with my usual 3 rax timing push with stim, and all i see are 4 units standing around. Of course if both players could macro and micro properly, then the maps might be a problem to be considered. $0.02
