Event is BYOPC, but there are computers for usage if you cannot bring your own computer. Bring Mouse/Keyboard/Headset if you do not bring your own PC.
If you have any questions please post in this thread or contact myself in some way. SOGC is run by the same guys that ran MaqLan last weekend, and it was a pretty well run event.
There will be a TON of things to do at the venue, from Xbox's to some awesome PC games to try out, so be sure to come along ^_^ There will be alcohol to be sold at the venue Minors are allowed in the venue, you just need an Adult (me! :P) to sign you in.
Most of these byoc kind of lans have too many bandwidth issues to stream onsite. Maybe some nice caster will jump in a few of the games from home and stream them though.
Hey guys, update on next weekends event. We've been given 20 copies of Chivalry: Medieval Warfare to test out, so we will have PCs setup to test this game in a big multiplayer game. If you're interested in the game be sure to come along, or even if you aren't, there aren't usually many oppertunities to test out the actual game before you buy it (Demo's always have such limited features :P). We will also be creating a video of the game and what you guys think of it, so if you're an aspiring reviewer, it is a good chance to have a go!
If you're signed up to the SC2 event, you can test out the game when you have some downtime, or after the tournament finishes, there will be plenty of time to have a go
Post below if you have questions and I will answer them asap (or chase up an answer for you).
Be sure to get behind events such as these as a community and encourage them to hold more events!
But that is for everyone at the event, you are not required to sign up specifically for a tournament. Make sure you register on the website if you are coming however so we have an idea on numbers, we have confirmed a few PC's will be available for use specifically for SC2 (for those of you who cannot BYOC), however there isn't enough for 1 per person, so there will be a little rotation going until enough players are eliminated from the tournament.
However when you aren't playing, you will be able to play on the Xbox's, Jump on the Demo PC's and test Chivalry: Medieval Warfare , head to the restaurant area or go to the bar for a drink (provided you are over 18 :P).
