Welcome to the 32nd Gold, Platinum and Diamond Weekly Open!

The event shall be a 64 player competition. It will be a single elimination style tournament.

Details

Date: Sunday, 4th of December, 2011.
Time: 3pm SGT, 5pm AEST, 6pm AEDT
Location: SEA Battle.net region.
Tournament Eligibility: You must be in the Gold, Platinum or Diamond league (1v1 - SEA license). If you were previously in Masters at the conclusion of season 1/2, you are ineligible.

Prizes: The winner of the GPD Open will take home the $10 first prize
The top 8 players from this event shall qualify for the Masters Cup on 18/12/11 and the chance to win the min $75 1st prize, $20 2nd, and $10 3rd for that event. Wildcard qualifying spots may also be given for impressive play outside of the top 8.

Rules and Regulations

· All results must be PMed to BioGenie.615 in-game.
· Players who are 15 or more minutes late will be disqualified, their opponent will be given an automatic win.
· If any disconnects occur within the first two minutes of game-play, the match will be replayed. However if the disconnect occurs after two minutes of game-time, then it is up to the discretion of the referee to decide whether;
A) the game is to be replayed, or
B) player X/Y is to be awarded the win.
· Any disputes will be handled by the GPD admins after reviewing all associated replays.
· Any inappropriate behaviour will result in a disqualification.
· Players must have their own Sea account, playing on a friends is not allowed
. You are allowed to switch races
. No late replacements.

The first map of each round is pre-determined and outlined in the following list. The losing player will decide the subsequent map. The map pool is as follows:

Ro128: MLG Shattered Temple (B01 no 2nd game)

Ro64: MLG Tal'Darim Altar (B01 no 2nd game)

Ro32: GSL Dual Sight v1.1 (B01 no 2nd game)

Ro16: MLG Metalopolis(B01 no 2nd game)

Ro8: GSL Bel'Shir Beach v1.1 (B03)

Semi-Finals: GSL Crevasse v1.0 (B03)

Finals: GSL Terminus SE (B05)

Loser can pick from any the following maps:

GSL Dual Sight v1.1;
GSL Crevasse v1.0;
GSL Terminus SE;
MLG Metalopolis;
MLG Shakuras Plateau;
MLG Shattered Temple;
MLG Tal'Darim Altar LE;

For B03 and B05 each player can have 1 veto

Congratulations to Dixzor on winning the 32nd GPD Weekly Open! Dixzor (T) beat AsGNasch (Z) 3-1 in an entertaining series.
