This'll be my first blog, on something I actually care about.
Yesterday, I vsed nGenWorkeD for the 2bh KOTH that went forever. Earlier on in the night, I'd beaten SiF and some other guy whos usernmae I cant remember. So I had been going okay that night, but most of the games were kinda weird.
When I was vsing nGenWorkeD, he did a cannon rush into a forge FE. In repsonse, I did my nydus speedling bane allin, but screwed up the rally points and also had the nydus behind his mineral line, giving him a choke. Not only this, but taldarim altar is definitely not the best map for the allin. So when it failed miserably, I decided to make a zillion banes outside his base and hope for the best.
Then when it only KINDA worked I just played stupid. I had no freaking clue how to transition out of that build, since I believed it was allin. But it was about even after the bane bust.
I didnt make any drones, I just kept doing ling bane and added dropped eventually. I wasn't taking it seriously and actually thinking properly from that point on. I did more damage than I should have, but still lost.
And benji was casting it.
I actually feel really bad about it later on, but I guess the best way to avoid it is to just not do stupid stuff like that.
heya zergtastic, ngenpinakw here. i didnt watch the game but from my experiences from hundreds of games i tink it would be best to have a "plan B" once your all in KINDA works haha..
there are times when i do a one base timing push in tvz off 2 racks n 2 fact too den it KINDA works and i have learnt to transition of it. With respect to this i think its kinda impt to have a mid game plan, like forexample in my tvz, i wanna have 2 fact, 4 racks, 1 sp, expand. so from my "all in" , i can see that i am lacking a expand,sp, 2 racks so i just go on ahead and add them. hehe, hope it helps
