I just personally find protoss to be the sickest race to play and to watch. Of course, this is very biased since I have pretty much no experience playing terran, and less than a hundred games as zerg. But still. The other races just don't excite me as much
Here are some things that I find exciting while watching games: Zerg: Baneling landmines. And nydus worms. But we don't see those very often. What else... fungal growth? Those are sometimes good to see. Sometimes.
Terran: I have to admit that splitting marines against banelings is one of the coolest things ever. Dropping multiple places simultaneously is also entertaining. Reaper play. But not much else.
Protoss: This is where it's at. Mass blink stalker play, especially with observers. Or Forcefields. I don't think I have to say anything more. They just might be the greatest things in the starcraft universe. They're so amazing that casters subconsciously exclaim "beautiful forcefields!" whenever forcefields grace the battlefield with their presence, even when they are placed terribly and cost the lives of many brave zealots. BUT THE CASTERS ARE NOT WRONG TO CALL THEM SO. For even when the forcefields are placed terribly, overlapping like lilypads in a lake, they retain their beauty. Nothing can be taken away from the flawlessness of their hexagonal and crystalline form.
tldr, forcefields make battles exciting to watch. They're even more exciting when you're the one placing them.
And then there's psi storm. Nothing is more exciting than to see a couple of psi storms rip up an entire army (except forcefields ). Well actually, dodging psi storms is cooler. I'll admit that.
And my absolute favourite, forcefields + psi storm. We see great forcefields, and great psi storms, but we rarely see them used together (because of gas costs and the difficulty to accumulate energy on sentries in the late game).
^this one is a must-watch
So yeah. Those are the things I like to see in battles.
Also, I hate the way some people say that protoss is the easiest race to micro. Just because protoss units are most effective in one giant deathball, it doesn't mean it's easy micro. Forcefields are pretty difficult under pressure, and they often win or lose the game. Even though they are very, very powerful when they are done right, it's not imbalance. Protoss units suck. The army straight up dies without them.
Here are my views on micro:
Protoss: 1a, forcefield, 1a
Terran: stim, 1a, spread units
Zerg: 1a 2a 3a
I wouldn't say any of them are easier. They're just different.
It is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles; if you do not know your enemies but do know yourself, you will win one and lose one; if you do not know your enemies nor yourself, you will be imperiled in every single battle.

delete: " protoss can win sometimes even though they are outplayed"
yes, but when you asked if you could quote that, i did add a lot of other things that couldn't fit, remember?
-protoss can win if they are outplayed in the macro (3base toss kicks butt), but if they can't forcefield, they can lose even if they outplay the opponent in macro
-terran can win after losing all scvs (mules)
-zerg can't recover
MC's play is nice, and probably just as technical as every other video you posted. Getting the ff's he did, and with almost no overlap... *drool* bosstoss so good...
BUT HOLY **** THE REST OF THE VIDEOS JIZZ JIZZ AGREE, haha random loves skill regardless of race
Wow! I hadn't seen that video of happy's marine micro before. I thought it was a micro bot at first.
That video is why MC is my favourite protoss. His forcefield micro has always been superb. His caster micro in general has always been amazing. The speed of which he would get feedbacks off on ghosts or perfect forcefields down was always so mindblowing.
I have never seen the last two vids before, but they were definitely EPIC.. Dragon's micro was sick good. I agree FF's can easily turn a game around for you if it's not looking so hot.
