Hey guys this is blog no.3
I'm still around, still playing although not as much as I would have liked. For the first month I was able to hit my 21 games a week but uni ramped up and over the last month I've only been able to get a couple dozen games in.
It feels a lot like two steps forward one step back. My APM has gone up from the 60's to the 90's which is cool but my biggest stumbling block is missing the 8 to 10 scv's before the 10 minute mark effectively crippling me. If I can just get this 10 minute stumbling block I think I will be well on my way to platinum league.
I signed up for the ASL Defender league or whichever one is the *easiest*. I'm really hoping to make a deep run and hoping some of the other FaDe guys can do some solid practice with the Diamonds/Plats and really make a push. It would seem that SC2 is a little different to other sports. I'm unsure how effective playing against people who surpass me in skill will translate like it does in some other sports/games/skills.
Still none of this happens over night so gotta keep patient and keep practicing. See you on the ladder.
Special mentions to RunaMoK and WoLF for being amazing the former for the insights and help and the second for passion and always trying to foster a strong community and clan with DG.
That's all for now. Bye guys!
Japetto
Edit: I have parted with DG and joined up with FaDe hopefully in order to improve with some more consistency and practice partners.
