It's because Blizzard wants to hold you tight and never let you go of it's grasp, and if your net happens to stop for a split second then the game thinks your being unfaithful and throws you out like garbage. It happened to me for the past year (and still happens now) and I've lost hundreds of games on ladder in the middle of a search without being given a chance to fight.

i have problems where i just dc from battlenet and never reconnect until i surrender the game. i've lost at least a hundred games like this. (and its usually when ppl 6 pool me... DAMNIT!)

I've been getting random SC2 crashes as well... costing me precious points and wins on my already very fragile ladder. Just confirms Bliz hates me :P

I used to get it constantly, last year or so. It was on every blizzard game but didnt hurt sc2 as much due to lag screen. It was to do with my ISP as it never happened if I was using my mobile's hotspot. I didn't do anything to fix it other than wait. Eventually it just stopped.

I used to get this a bit... been happening occasionally lately too. Nothing more frustrating than dropping from a game while alt-tabbed seeing your internet appears to be otherwise fine :/

Bnet just has a really bad system in general. It's one of the many games where you pretty much never get to reconnect if you DC once. It's a pretty big problem, and I get so mad at Blizzard for this. (Just lost one again)

Yep I get the exact problem where I'm in game and I get the message that I have been disconnected from battle net but I don't disconnect from the game. The weird thing is I get the same problem with Steam. In the messengers it keeps saying I disconnect and then reconnect over and over, perhaps the problem isn't with battle net but with routers maybe?

I had this issue when I try to play from my dorm net...something to do with their servers/hubs not liking the communication between my comp and bnet servers...

whn i got home for the break, no dc/rc cause my net has no bs like tht...cld be ur connection settings? O_O

tht or get another isp

keeps lagging in game then DC'ing me! but i reconnect and still win! wooooooooo

Yes same problem. I never completely drop out. Happens every now and then - quite frustrating.
