@ Flux, yes whilst its true this is the internet, you're still forgetting every major event anybody cares about is still a LAN. I'm not saying its the only thing holding us back, but it does make it that much harder. Without question our players would get sent around a tonne more if only cost a 500 dollar flight as opposed to a 2k flight

And of the players you can spend that kind of money to get to an event in EU/NA. there are 10 good Koreans that are seen as a "safe choice" for sponsors to send for every SEA player with the potential to do okay.

Haven't you guys learned anything? Being good at Starcraft is important to a point. But once that point is reached, the sponsors stop caring about "who is good", and start caring about "who is the most marketable?". SEA isn't marketable, because we have next to no presence ONLINE, let alone offline. You can go ahead and blow off everything that's being said, but remember that the people who are the ones really contributing to the stagnation of this community and the lack of monetary support are naysayers like yourself.
