A love of mine has always been Counter Strike. No matter how far I've gone out of the scene or being absorbed in another gaming scene, I've always had a love for CS. Of course, Starcraft II lured me away, but secretly I still wanted to be good at CS (even though I was crap at it). Alas the CS community wasn't the best either, but I decided after several failed attempts, this time I would do it.
One of my goals in my life have always been to get in a CS:GO team. Recently, I found a group of 3 guys who were already in a team, and were looking to recruit after their old lineup failed (you can see in the image of how bad that old lineup was). Naturally, I decided to try out for them, to see whether they would be interested in me. I'm super happy to say that after 2 weeks and d a bit of meshing and chilling with these guys in Team Speak, I made it. I was formally invited to join Team Execero, I finally got into a competitive CS team.
Although I have to practice super hard and I don't have that much time either, I've learnt to use the time I have spare after studying to practice with these guys. And it was an amazing feeling being accepted into this team, something I couldn't help but shout with happiness. The point of this blog is to strive hard to achieve your goals. And that anything is possible. And this can apply to life in general, not just gaming, Counter Strike or Starcraft II. If you want something that badly, and you put your whole heart into it, I feel that you can achieve it (within reason). If you're a silver, and you want GrandMaster, if you dedicate yourself to that goal, to that dream you can get it. But for now, I'm still super hyped to be on a CS team finally after 5 years of wanting to get there. And it's proof for me, that I can continue to attain my goals in life.

well done! I've always loved Counter-Strike too, it's just been that game that no matter what game I'm playing its always there. I'm not very good at it though so being on a team is a dream that'll never happen. Good luck in whatever tournaments/competitions coming up for you and your team.
It is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles; if you do not know your enemies but do know yourself, you will win one and lose one; if you do not know your enemies nor yourself, you will be imperiled in every single battle.
