Calling out x5 "Terran Mind" "KR GM" RunaMoK McMillian
You know what? He's right. Time to wipe the dust off then.
I'm willing to put up to 2 thousand dollars on the line since that's all the money I have, I'll compete.
Out of every single person I've ever spoken to or have tried to help, you've progressed the least and in most cases backtracked. So, Mr. "Master level Terran currently apart of the Exile 5 e-sports organisation here in Australia. i have attended several lans and placed in the top 8, I compete regularly in tournaments that fit my sleep routine and around my studies and i have a fairly extensive knowledge of the game", play me.
I'll show you what skill gap looks like and how little your past 4 years meant compared to my 8 months.
Holy shit do you actually think anybody would accept a $2000 bet on a show match? like come the **** on dude. Its so freaking obvious you have made that bet as a bluff so Runamok will deny simply cause the $$$ is ridiculous and then you can gloat all you want about how he wussed out.
People here need to stop ******* making all this retarded drama out of nothing. If somebody says something just ******* ignore it (although in this case its fairly obvious that you have instigated this whole thing) move on stop acting like children and grow the **** up
Ahh taking the moral high ground is another good way to dodge, good one Josh! If you only knew how to take high ground advantage in game you wouldn't be diamond.
I can't stream, but I would happily offer my services as a co-caster.
While I don't quite agree with the approach taken by either parties involved, and feel that private beefs could be kept more private, I do enjoy watching both players play and would be pleased to commentate if a showmatch does happen.
That being said, I personally don't think it should involve money. There's enough pride on the line here that money shouldn't be a factor in any case. If both parties had OSC points, I'd have suggested an OSC showmatch. As that's not the case, then simple stakes of pride/bragging rights should suffice.

Some high stakes on offer, JunO. I don't want to see anyone leaving their team or losing such a large amount of money. We get it, you're serious and have little doubt you're going to lose. I like your confidence, but you are actually putting up the barrier that Runamok may not want to leave his team over a grudge, or can't afford to lose $2k....
Why not just take it as the grudge match it is, with all the pride on the line. Runamok, if you lose - you should name change to JunOWasRight on sc2sea for a month and try and learn from his suggestions. JunO, if you lose, name change to MyHeadWasTooBig and you'll have to go back into your uncompetitive hole once again. And maybe a piece of Dragonite's cash as well >.<
Good luck lads, please accept this challenge, Josh. Nothing better than a bit of a grudge match.

He bet up to $2k. They could pick $5 if they wanted to.
If runamok wants to change stakes than let him come propose his idea. Dunno why we can't put money on the line guys.
There's a tradition in Korea that follows, in grudges between Clans there's something called demolition war -- where the losing clan disbands and closes door. If you don't want to put money up, I'd be willing to put up a clause where the losing player leaves their team.

No offence to Runa. But this is like a 20 year old calling out a 10 year old for a fight and then willing to bet money on winning. You know you're going to win. Josh is still an academy player who is trying to improve. I know how good Juno is. He's an awesome player. Amazing knowledge of the game and he's always happy to impart that knowledge and help people.
tbh I would rather see Juno competing in SEA tourneys and show good game. I would rather be cheering him on. No Koreans there. No one is saying you need to apply for a Kespa team and head to SPL. But we would all love to see Juno put his enormous skills and talent too good use and see him in the tourney scene frequently.
That would be worthy of Michael Jackson popcorn gif. Until that day...

Sorry, I should've provided full insight (you're in the chat as well, you can scroll up) -- I said I'm scared of losing and humiliating myself in front of everyone watching. Taking a fight you can't win would be stupidity.

This is more like a 13 year old chess prodigy calling out someone who has played chess their entire life and still hasn't got the GM title.
Ok, lets do it! I'm not going to shy about from a show match it should be fun to bring you outta your bubble win or lose, i'll even put on a show for sc2sea since we've run out of drama and need something else to dig our teeth into. I don't need to put stakes on this show match because i don't need your validation on my so called sc2 career. Unlike you I'm not afraid to compete against people who might beat me.
So you bring private skype logs into the public forum to belittle me, put down my work and the help ive given people and criticize my opinions on a game.
I'm glad you've given us the opportunity and reminded us of the kind of person you are and your success instarcraft2.
lastly i'd like to say say thank you for your support and i hope to show good games, please cheer for me

Wait I thought he said anything up to $2,000.00 ? So $1 should do it.

Aye, if Sam still wants to put money up I'm more than happy to take that. Apparently x5 people don't want their boy embarrassed and have his wallet empty while at it. I'll play him, with or without money.
yep im still happy anything over a bo5 and ill sponsor $100 to the winner to be paid through paypal straight after the event also must be streamed for the community. if u guys find a streamer ill happily cast it.
Didn't give two shits about this match until Runamok pulled the 'When I'm being criticised it's just a game and you're a tryhard for getting worked up about it, but any other time it's super serious business' card.
Crush him Juno.
Just talked with Juno in chatbox for a bit, I'm actually now rooting for Juno to win. Sure hes not being humble at all, but theres huge egos on both sides of this, and Juno is most likely better. You just don't see 99% of what runamok has said, which probably would make less people want to defend him.
... Although I think the trashtalking is retarded still.
i know everyone hates me or whatever , but runamok has been pretty decent all round from the last time i watched his streams like a year ago until now , it must be the practise he can get from the x5 players that's helped him , so for everyone's interest just play for the showmatch and the name on the front of your shirt , not the money that could line your pocket , good luck have fun all involved and i hope to see josh and juno has a good series!!
also haters lets hate on skype please not on forums , skype username : mcarthur1905 GLHF

I know that everyone hates me, whatever. But Runamok has show decent improvement over the time I've been watching his stream. I'd imagine he gets some good practice from his x5 team mates and that is sure to help him improve. So for my interest, so I can be involved, please focus on the show match. Its about who you are as a player, not how much money you have - at least I hope so, I've got none but I'll tell you I'm loaded. Good luck to all involved. I hope you both have a good series.
Also, please direct the focus and drama towards me, because I like to think I'm important.
PS. keep an eye on buffalo's twitter @BigBhoy1905 (he just changed it again) and any time you see me tweet at an eSports organisation, link them this reddit thread and warn them of Buffalo's bullshit, just like I've warned all SC2 managers in a global Skype group.
NOW THIS HAS BEEN SAID, LETS PLEASE FOCUS THIS THREAD ON RUNAMOK VS JUNO
Wow juno wants to play easy player but not a good player
Okay i better get worse so he play me TT
Unrelated to this scenario, but we should get a showmatch going some time where we have a clearly imbalanced showmatch going. Everytime the better player wins they take a shot untill the lower ranked player can beat them. People can then bet on the number of shots needed.
to what Cabracan said, there used to be a TtSYF underdog match that was similar to what you said. One person was clearly favoured to win, and it was pretty cool to watch
Also an unfortunate turn of event, Deth is stuck at work and won't be able to co-cast tonight. Instead, we'll be having Lawrence "EZ Roach Player" Lawyer co-casting with Tony "Pox" Abbott. Sorry to all the Deth fans for this inconvenience.
I'd like to see a series were they both macro every game. Juno clearly showed that when he opened roach bane 13 minute lair build he tends to lose in the macro game.
If juno opened this build every game I think Runamok would have won the series, and in the end that's what really matters.
This is clearly evidence that runamok in fact had someone smurfing on his account this whole series. I suspect fullmetal as he would be likely to use 1 hotkey.

Can confirm wasn't me playing as banshees were made
having read 3 pages of this, Juno is coming accross as a HUUUUUUUUUUUGE womens specail place, runamonk has already accepted and is proving his point by simply playing you, if you want money how about entering those tourneys?
