The Australian Cyber League is proud to announce its third live event to be held in Melbourne at the start of September!
Recently, ACL announced preliminary details for the third and final event of its 2015 season, to be held in Melbourne on September 5-6. After a year without an event in Victoria it is our pleasure to bring the ACL circuit back to Melbourne to the same venue, La Trobe University. We are pleased to announce we will be continuing the support of Counter Strike: Global Offensive due to its success at ACL Sydney along with the regular ACL titles; Call of Duty, StarCraft II and Halo. We know how much the community has been pleading for an ACL event in Melbourne so with all the hype you don’t want to miss this one!
Please note: This event is a MA15+ event. For full details please visit our website.

Do you guys need a hand setting up? I know a few people were talking about practicing in the city at a PC café. But perhaps if they came Friday and helped set up for awhile they could then use the PCs at the venue for prac?
Just a thought anyway. I don't land till late Friday evening, but I'm here to help on the day Baldie mate.

Support on the Friday is always appreciated. Earlier in the day is where help is needed the most as we need the most hands on deck but there is literally always something to do so anytime is perfect. We will be on site from 9am and probably will be on site until close to midnight so pick a time. Even for 30 minutes makes a big difference. If people wanted to practice on the PCs they likely wont be in testing zone until probably 7pm so to be honest while I would really love people's help, if practice is important to them they should play at a cafe.
If anyone wants to help out/find more information out about it or is lost on the day/needs to contact me just call my mobile 0450 356 030
Unlike Sydney which was a bit relaxed we will be enforcing the 15+ rule at ACL Melbourne with ID checks on entry. Once checked you will receive a wristband and be allowed in. If you do not have your ID with you, you won't be permitted entrance so PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU BRING A FORM OF IDENTIFICATION
Also if you are competing please try to bring earbuds with you in case you play on main stage. Makes a big difference thanks.
I'll try email all participants and update this thread tomorrow night with any questions people may have.
