Was out this afternoon and caught this news first on Twitter; the wonders of technology nowadays.

I wonder if Japan people play on SEA servers or Korea, but let's pray for our friends up there in manga-land.

I have a feeling they might play on Korea, Taiwan or SEA; probably not EU! Maybe even NA. They aren't big PC gamers though.

I keep looking at pics and the destruction is so saddening, but hopefully it isn't as bad as the one back in '05.

Japan is in the European region. They would either play or EU or NA copies. I highly doubt they would play on KR, or even TW/SEA.

I think the Japanese dealt with this well. They had good evacuation and contingency plans. However, I am worried about the nuclear plants suffering a meltdown. Both reactors 1 & 3 had an explosion already, but the government says its just a hydrogen explosion. For the sake of the Japanese, I hope they are not lying :/

Omg. I just came back from Tibet on a trip and heard about this in the airport. This is devestating... It's like watching the real movie of 2012 live on TV... Damn guys. Pray for them, I hope the army there can save as many citizens possible. Also pray for Hawaii and Taiwan that might have an aftershock of waves.

Maybe it seems taboo to be saying this but it seems not to be as bad as I thought it would be, not as bad as the 2004 one anyway...

Japan is well-prepared and equipped for earthquakes - I think the EQ didn't take as much lives (like Haiti). There will be a lot of damaged property, but I hope casualties don't go up to thousands.

I feel news sites are sensationalizing this a bit, yes, boats on bridges look concerning but I'd rather make sure the people are safe.

I hope that people are alright in Japan and that things don't get too out of control. Apparently Australia (NT) was meant to feel the after-effect a few hours later; but I'm not exactly sure how that panned out.

It's not really blown out of proportion, if radiation comes to Toyko... and I'm pretty sure in the days to come there could possible be tens of thousands of deaths. The nuclear issue is serious, and they've already accepted America's help.

Tens of thousands is just ridiculous unless a nuclear power plant suddenly has a meltdown in the middle of the day with people around it. Currently the death toll is sitting at around 2000, there are still so many missing and yes the threat of a meltdown but with proper aid and evacuating more areas nobody else has to die.
