All qualifiers are 256 man open brackets, top 3 qualify to the main tournament. To sign up, you need to be a citizen of the qualifier region you want to compete in, i.e. to compete in America Qualifier you must be a citizen of a North American or Latin American country, residency and/or work visas are not eligible.

Prize for main event

1st place: 40,000 CNY (6,404$)
2nd place: 20,000 CNY (3,202$)
3rd and 4th: 10,000 CNY (1,601$)
5th - 8th: 5,000 CNY (800$)
9th - 16th: 2,000 CNY (320$)
17th - 32th: 1,000 CNY (160$)

Overall: 132,000 CNY (21,135$)

This should be a great opportunity for everyone, since this is unlike IEM qualifiers where we are inevitably mashed up against Koreans. I guess the Taiwanese are still formidable, but we definitely stand a better chance against them! Thread will be closed because there's no need for any replies.

On the topic of this tournament being partnered with us:

I worry that if we did main tournament, would inflate our prizepool too much, and not be a true reflection. Plus they might not be open to using our overlays so we can see its an official tournament

When asked if scalp points and participation bonus could be given:

We can't give out for none partnered touraments, so given the above points, dont think we will. Still a sick prizepool, and hopefully we can score at least 1/3 seeds

Awesome tournament from Blysk, qualifying first place, defeating PSiArc, iaguz and PiG along the way

Has was the 2nd player to qualify undefeated.

PiG fought back and qualified in the 3rd/4th place series

(EnDerr missed out on qualifying by 1 map)

2/3 SEA is pretty good.

Was a little strange Has and Ian facing each other so early in the bracket...
