IT'S BACK BOYS AND GIRLS!



On behalf of the guys over at Eternal E-Sports, I'm pleased to announce that we're reforming into what you could almost call AxS 2.0!

First thing's first, I have to address a few things;
I, Soundwave, am not those individuals who lit the flame that burned the AxS ship down (COUGH WALLY COUGH).
Many of you know me very well, and it is with great confidence that I am taking this venture into the unknown and I sincerely hope that many of you reading this in disbelief have as much faith in me as I have in you.

I have led ETL for nearly three full years. Through thick and thin I've persevered to get that glorious clan to where it is today... But it's always bothered me that AxS was left for dead after initially having so much promise.
You could guess by now that this is somewhat a "passion project" of mine, and has been for roughly those two months. The time is right, right now.

I've consulted with both new and old members of the community, members of AxS' original group and with many who were opposed to AxS in the old days, the response I got was heart warming and filled me with enough courage to do this.
New year, fresh slate and countless challenges await.

Now, personal stuff aside, lets get on with the other things~~



What's happening to ETL? Do all those guys agree with this?

I mentioned before that I spoke with "some" people. I also spoke with the people who were online in the ETL Skype chat tonight and the general response was green light to go.
I know from plenty of experience that the people who weren't around when we were discussing this (e.g. the people who don't use Skype or just weren't around) are loyal to the group, and no matter what name we go by - they'll stay with the family.

As for ETL as a clan... well, there's not much to tell. We're still technically ETL just using the AxS name!



What our goals are in the new year. With the new name and tag.

It's our #1 priority as a clan to show not only a greater level of professionalism, but to display what AxS "could have been" by actually being it! Dominating clan wars, top results in tournaments and way more active with the community... We won't let the older AxS guys down!

I encourage any and all clan leaders to actively seek me out for clan wars and whatnot, for I'll have a bit of help this year from a few better known members in sorting events out and making sure things are run very smoothly.

Actually.. speaking of people helping me out..



Management personnel and plans put forward for this year to make our goals achievable!


Ravenflames - Graphics Designer. With Ravenflames' help we will make more photoshopped pictures of camels than ever before.


Elusory - Motivational Speaker. Justin gives really ******* good speeches when you're on tilt or whatever so this can be his job.

snexwang - Sex Appeal. Any one needing new fap material can go and seek out this glorious beast.


Swarmstika - Punching Bag. Whenever shit goes wrong, it's probably this kid's fault. If you're having any life problems you can blame him, it's okay.


Soundwave - Almighty leader and head manager of literally everything that happens in the clan.


And that's about it! This is a brand new start for quite a few people, and will be hard to get used to. But with the help of you the community, we can do this!

If anyone has anything to say, or- NAH JUST KIDDING AXIS SUCKS LOLOLOL. WHO WOULD EVER BRING THOSE GUYS BACK?!?! WE WON, AXIS. WE WON THE WAR. GET REKT.

ETL UPDATE #??? DECEMBERISH TO JANUARYISH

Big things have been happening for ETL lately. Azure won SEAcraft Melee #1 (http://challonge.com/SEAmelee1) and made Ro4 in last week's Friday Fun Night. He along with Swarmstika also managed to qualify for the Eastern StarCraft League Up and Down matches, with myself, NaMeK and ILikeTrains falling one series short. ILikeTrains managed to even take a game off Fenner, in a huge upset.

We're also participating in Group A of Division 3 of the SC2 Improve Team League. Our first match will be sometime this week, likely at an ungodly hour. Cheer for us! ^_^

Venom is an ex ToR member who you might remember if you were around in 2012. Well, he's back boiz.

Elusory

I worked with Elusory when we were both part of SYF Gaming. Justin is a very funny and nice guy and he is friends with a few of the people in ETL. So he was invited into chat and has become fast friends with everyone. He is still part of ToR though. He is a Chase-like dual clanning figure.

mayheM

A former member of DGTV, mayheM has found a new home in ETL.

Azure

We managed to get Azure to join ETL and got him to be more involved in the SC2SEA scene. This has obviously worked out great for him as he won SEACraft Melee #1 and is showing some impressive results. Azure chats a lot and everyone gets along well with him. He's great to have around.

azraiil

A Bronze Protoss who is brand new to StarCraft 2, azraiil has already advanced to Silver with ETL's help and is a constant presence in ETL chat, and helps contribute to the highly fun and chilled out atmosphere.



In and Out:

Gravity aka FeDe aka Chiddiru

I'll be honest, I actually had nothing to do with him joining, but nonetheless, he was back in ETL. He used to be in ETL at one point for like a week, but then he left. Anyway, we were cautiously optimistic that Gravity would have a good attitude and keep it as such. I know he's garned the ire of a few people in the community but in his short time with us he was actually quite good and got along well with most of his fellow members. Unfortunately he chose to leave again.
