Looking for some Bronze/Silver players who are keen to have a clanwar or 2 (or more)

What it is all about?

I was discussing with one leader from a NA clan. He is keen for a bronze/silver clanwar for the lower leagues to have some fun too. Problem is mGG doesnt have active bronze/silver players. I am aware there are a few of them in various clans and since we were unable to have BSG clanwars as well etc and no more BSG opens etc, I'm proposing to gather interested bronze/silver players to form a small team to have an occasional clanwar.

What I'm looking for?

Dedicated well-mannered players who want some clanwar fun. Bronze-Silver players only. A minimum of 3 for a BO5 but having 1-2 standbys will ensure no disruption in the games as well.

When?

As it is vs a NA clan, it has to be Sat or Sun around 12pm AEDT. Actual date/time to be discussed.

Any other information?

You need to be legitly bronze/silver. So make sure you get placed and be active on the ladder to show true the league

Gold players may also indicate their interest. We could have some BSG ones as well. But the focus is getting the fun competitive clanwars to the bronze/silver players out there as there are so few of such opportunities.

It's not that I dislike the idea of having a bronze/silver clan war. I just don't see it ever happening with the amount of active bronze/silver players around in the SEA scene anyway.

At the same time I feel that having these clanwars in the first place will encourage any existing bronze/silver players to become more active, so I overall think it's worth giving a shot

I am looking for a minimum of 3 bronze/silver players to form a team.

I know there are some BSGs who have been sad that we dont have enough to have BSG opens anymore or clanwars at their level between the SEA clans. I'm sure we can as a community, to combine these scattered bronze/silver players around to form a team for a clanwar vs a clan on NA. This is after discussions with a NA clan so there is going to be at least one NA clan whom we will meet in a clanwar.

PS : The other clan leader even suggested if we do have enough players, that we could even consider a bronze/silver tournament and not just stop at clanwars. So do keep the interest/name/race/league etc coming.

I'm usually Bronze/Silver on US servers, playing Protoss.

This season I somehow ended up in Gold, but I think it's a big mistake, as I lose 80% of my games against Gold players.

Hairymuppet, this also happened to me. The explanation some guys gave me is that the system doesn't have enough information to place me in the proper league.

But after placing me in Gold, it still matches me against Diamonds, which is just a waste of time. I will normally lose 5 to win 1.

Dont give up. It will usually right itself soon enough. Keep laddering and just take it as practice vs better opponents in the meantime.
