Please read the rules if this is your first time entering

Tournament Eligibility:
You must be legitimately in the Bronze, Silver or Gold league (1v1 - SEA license) and you must be active on ladder.
Everyone will be checked for typical smurf activity designed to keep them in a lower league.
Anyone found to be smurfing will be added to the BSG Hall of Shame so everyone can be aware of their shameful acts.

Battle.net group: "sc2seaBSG"

Rules

You must contact your opponent on Battle.net preferably by being in chat channel "sc2seaBSG" to play your match
You have ~15 minutes to start your Round 1 match; anybody that is not contactable after 10 minutes will be disqualified. This 10 minute timeout rule applies throughout the tournament.
You must play your main 1v1 ladder race throughout tournament.
Observers: Tournament admins or official streamers are always allowed and the only ones to observe your game
Problems/Questions: When in doubt about anything, contact an admin
Reporting Results: After the match has been played, you must report the result by pm to an admin
Disconnects: If a player disconnects, use the 'Resume from Replay' feature to continue the game. If the player has gone offline completely, inform an admin and wait 10 minutes for them to return.
Pauses: You must notify your opponent in game if you wish to pause. This pause should not exceed 5 minutes. Excessive pausing in game may lead to disqualification.
Bad Manner will not be tolerated. Anyone caught BMing will be warned. Further offenses will lead to disqualification. Any racist, hateful or excessively derogatory language may lead to removal without warning. We are a friendly group and we'd like to see it stay that way.
Replays: Should be saved at least until the following tournament. Anyone asked by admins to provide a replay who cannot do so will be disqualified.
Anyone suspected of smurfing (playing another person's account, manipulating ladder to be in a lower league) will be thoroughly investigated and if found guilty, prizes will be stripped and they will be reported to Blizzard and added to the Hall of Shame.

Format

1. Round of 32 bo1 on Bel'Shir Vestige LE
2. Round of 16 bo1 on Star Station
3. Quarter Finals bo3 on Derelict Watcher TE
4. Semi Finals bo3 on Akilon Wastes
5. Grand Final bo5 on Neo Planet S

For finals rounds that are best of 3 or 5, loser of previous game may pick any map from the following list. Maps may be repeated as many times as players wish.

Got promoted to plat can't play. However I would love to co-cast with someone. Can't do the main stream as I am not experienced and my net couldn't handle it but would love to cast with a more experienced caster

Lokth is our regular caster, so if he's up for having you co-cast, go for it. If not, I'm sure we can arrange for you to have a go with someone at some point.

Please confirm my legitimacy of entering the tourney. I have followed the instruction of laddering as Terran last week and managed to be Gold. Hope admin can clarify it so no misconduct will happen

I blocked his bnet account last week and banned him from the BSG channel. He's obviously done a name change but funnily enough *insert eye rolling* the account remains banned and the new name, Pomahue, is listed in my blocked players.

Aaaaand now it's come to my attention that TCPDestiny, also know as Buu or Stealthor, after being told that he can't play in BSG ("im a diamond zerg but im finding it hard so ive decided to change to toss, uhm am i allowed to play because ive just recently changed") has asked at least two people if he can use their accounts. Anyone found to have shared their account with someone for the purposes of smurfing or otherwise cheating in the BSG will have their account banned. Don't let some idiot include you in their idiocy, it'll come back onto you as well as them.

i didnt get 2 friends banned _-_ and nemesis i know ^_^ thats why im focusing on laddering instead of tournaments, keeping my mind of everything before i start smurfing again -_- need to focus on winning and learning instead of beating lower leagues and putting them in a unfair stage

there is no need to do this in a BSG tournament. there is a laddering option called "unranked". you could have tried there or in practice games with mates. not an official tournament.

Serious business dude, just drop it and play on unranked or something if you're going to go offrace and play 1v1. Not fair to take advantage of a tournament to do these kinds of things.

I think offrace is not completely prohibited but you gotta go play ranked for a period of time in legit manner and get permission from mod.

Source: myself, been toss 'till Plat and get granted permission from admin to play as Terran (still lost thought)
