64 Players -> Single Elimination


RO64 Round 1 -> BO1 -> Korhal Compound LE

RO32 Round2 -> BO1 -> Newkirk CIty

RO16 Round 3 -> BO3 -> Howling Peak

RO8 Quarter Finals -> BO3 -> Ohana LE

RO4 Semi Finals -> BO3 -> Cloud Kingdom LE

Grand Final -> BO5 -> Cloud Kingdom LE

As usual after the first match has been played, the loser picks the next map from this map pool. You can use each map as many or as few times as you wish.

QUALIFICATION:

• You must have a HOTS beta Key.
• You must be a member of the sc2sea forums.
• You must be a resident of SEA or considered a SEA representative.

There will be two divisions BSGP and then OPEN.

Any level from Bronze to Grandmaster may participate in the OPEN division. Only Bronze Silver, Gold and Platinum members may participate in the BSGP Division. We will be using Wings of Liberty ladder ranks as a guide. (This is to stop smurfing) And SEA Power Rankings for seeding.

RULES AND REGULATIONS:

1. You must be present in the FSICUP channel 5 minutes before the start time to play. If you are not your spot may be given to others.
2. After 15 minutes of starting each round, a walkover will be given to any players who are no longer online, unless special permission was given by your opponent and admins.
3. You must play under the Race and Account you identify in your sign up
4. Only tournament admins/casters and streamers will be allowed to observe.
5. When you have any issue, questions, direct them to tournament administrators immediately
6. After the completion of each match, both players must PM the result to an ADMIN
7. Any disconnect in a series will be a replay. If a player feels there was a clear winner, they can request a review from an admin. A second disconnect in a series will result in a loss to that player.
8. Pauses will not be used, and only if discussed and agreed in game with your opponent.
9. Any instances of abuse, BM or other unacceptable behaviours will result in your exclusion
10. All replays must be kept
11. If playing in BSGP, any playing caught smurfing will be excluded from this and all other FS tournaments. If you can think of any reason why you are better then BSGP level, you should inform admins.

To clarify the seeding completely.

We will be seeding the tournament based on SEA Power Points and then ladder league/rank in WoL for the open tournament.

For the BSGP we will be just using WoL ladder league/rank.

We choose to use WoL ranks to help us get an idea of general skill level in SEA.

Map pool edited. Added more HoTS Ladder maps in with current WoL ones.

Personally, I hate the restrictions of night tournaments. So i opted for a time that would suit me to be around.

No need to worry about any other competition with an early start, and different days means it wont clash with annual weekly tournaments!

Would love to cast this! loving HotS at the moment, maybe get this featured on TL as well? Since there is a pre big prize pool for the Open one and well, its HotS beta.

For the map pool, you have Korhal Compound LE listed, which is a WoL map that was removed from the map pool early last year. Are you going to use that, or did you mean Korhal City, the new HotS map?

I do mean the old Korhal Compound as its still available as a map to use in custom games. Our theory or m thinking was a bit of the old and new just so players that have played for years know the maps that kind of thing. But i felt the tourney needed only a few HOTS maps and some WoL maps. Just to add a abit of spice.
