Continuing to tweak the Heart of the Swarm Beta, Blizzard have today brought down the servers to apply a new balance update. The changes include a previously mentioned change to move the burrow upgrade to hatchery tech as well as some minor tweaks to the reaper and Void Ray.

Activating the Prismatic Alignment ability now causes a timer to display over the Void Ray for the duration of the effect.

The Evolve Burrow upgrade requirement has been moved to the Hatchery.
Blizzard seem eager to see more of the reaper, they seem to be buff buff buffing it all day long
As for the zerg burrow tech at hatch it will provide some annoyance and will be interesting how the change pans out in all levels of gameplay.
Its cauz the reaper truly does suck other than scouting when terran doesn't really need it anyway lol
Burrow at hatch is cool, it'll be really rewarding for zergs who can burrow micro roaches really well and should be a few cool new pushes in zvz and zvt. I don't think it'll make much of an impact zvp tbh, but definitely keen to get home and try it out!

I think it will impact ZvP heaps! Gateway expo can now be punished in lots of different ways. Even if they FFE, any push before obs is out is dangerous. I've been leaving 3 burrowed banelings outside their base to catch any sentrys that venture out
what is ur econ/tech like behind that tho? Or do you stay on 2 bases longer? and oracle isn't out in time to deal with it? Also, like 95% of protoss I see still FFE, but yeah I spose it could be pretty good against gateway expo.
But yeah, haven't actually tested it yet, I'm so keen to get home and try it out tho!

They moved it to the mothership core, then back to the oracle in the patch before this one.
oh sorry i got mothership core and oracle mixed up! I think early oracle openers are rare so shouldn't make much of a difference! also if they make oracles they won't be making a ground push you can kill with early banes so you won't be that far behind.
Anybody else think this will completely revolutionize ZvT? Burrowed Banes from the get go means mines with the first 2 banes. Early Terran pushes are taking a hit. ZvZ even more so.
Going mass ling is almost impossible until you get detection now.

You still need to pay for burrow tech ,it ain't free. Which means you usually want it after nest, after lair, skipping roaches and +1 +1...there's so much more gas to be spent elsewhere its crazy.
