Hey guys I've been asking around some fellow sc2sea clan/team managers about the possibility of a singular skype chat with all the managers of teams competing for SEACL in them.

My reasoning is that by having one singular place to communicate for each respective teams manager(s), (based off tier, e.g. tier 1 would have their own skype group, tier 2 etc. etc.) I feel it would make it easier to find the opposing teams manager and communicate inter-team for SEACL. (Yes I recognize we had to post our skype names when we entered our rosters for SEACL)

I feel this more applies to tiers 2-5 as not every manager knows all the managers of each other respective team so by having a base of communication it makes time scheduling and any last minute changes easier to handle (on the note of tiers, obviously tier 1 could do the same thing, just I feel they'd all already know each other already).

For those that think this wouldn't work in practice, not sure if you've heard of it or not but an idea similar to this has already been carried out with "The Gamers Network" which is a huge skype group with managers of Starcraft II teams across the globe ranging from Korea to the US. Obviously they made this group for correspondence between teams and accomplishing clan wars a much more straightforward process (although I suppose they don't have an sc2sea equivalent so that is their only synchronized avenue) and it has been a success.

I guess what I'm also suggesting in the above example is this doesn't have to be JUST for SEACL, perhaps it could be useful for SEA in general? Especially considering not every SEA clan/team resides on sc2sea as a house clan / active as a clan on sc2sea itself (we at iVn are an example of this).

What do you think? I feel as if people already find the sc2sea chat and PM system enough but I know I personally would find a single point of communication would just make things easier, surely I can't be alone in this feeling?

PMing system is good, but yeah I always find doing clan war organizing much easier over Skype so I'm all for this idea . Count me in.

I am sure all the other admins are going to be doing this too once all the teams are sorted into the tiers but T3 will definitely have one.
