Veno joins Flash eSports

Hi everyone,

It's been awhile since we've gone into the StarCraft II market, but today Flash eSports are proud to officially announce the addition of our newest member.

He is none other than FaDe's Samuel 'Veno' Sng, or VenosauR.

Veno first cropped up on our radar with some impressive performances on LAN against prominent local players (namely ZooM and Lobo) without anything tangible to show for his efforts, and after an internal discussion amongst our team (as well as our customary trials), we decided to take him in. He has, unofficially, been a part of the team since December 2012 and training hard in preparation for his debut in Flash colours later this year.

As Singapore's top professional gaming team, it has always been our goal and ambition to sniff out the best & upcoming talent in the scene. In our mind, there is no one that represents that ideology better than Veno himself.

At 14 years of age, we see immense potential in him to grow and rise to the occasion in the future. It is perhaps worth mentioning Veno's winning mentality, well-honed at such a young age which showed itself when we sat down observing his best performances.


Veno's thoughts on joining Flash:

"I’m excited to join Flash eSports. I’ve always wanted to be part of a local pro-team and Flash is the strongest team in Singapore. Joining Flash gives me the chance to practise with many strong players, and I hope to improve greatly from this.

I picked up StarCraft from my older brother in June 2011. i joined Clan FaDe in August when I was still diamond. I was more motivated to practice after joining, and got to GM on SEA server by December. After that I began entering LAN events in Singapore and that spurred me to play competitively at a high level. I began looking for strong players to play with, and that’s when I wanted to join a pro-team.

Flash has made me feel very welcome, especially Drake who has been an awesome friend so far, and Revenant who is a very wise and patient teacher.

My goal in Flash is to be one of the best Protoss players in Southeast Asia. I want to win a local LAN and constantly achieve more podium finishes in online events. With my team-mates, I hope we can get top three in the upcoming SEACL 3.
