Great game I played vs some random mid master korean protoss, showcasing using speed warp prisms, zealot/dt harass, taking bases, and not doing dumb timings can make you win a late game vs zerg. True, I feel I could have defended better, but at least having strategies that take advantage of your opponents mistakes or shortcomings is a lot more effective than slamming your head into a brick wall of spines and infestors and broods and wondering why you keep losing. So definitely one to take a look at for you protoss!
No didnt you get the point? it forces zerg to be playing really well and gives you more options, other than just doing timings and hope they work or not
I think its the Liquid Hero style but good zergs know how to counter it now. Still should be useful to try out in any league on SEA tho, thanks for sharing!
Multi pronged attacks have always been good especially mid-late in PvZ, alongside DT drops or just simple DT runbys they can really abuse the immobility of winlord/winfestor given the slow to medium speed of the composition. This is why HerO was such a powerhouse (and to some extent still is) in PvZ.
The issue comes in the fact that once it gets to a certain point, you just need to spend a little on anywhere from 2-8 spines and a couple of spores, and it because kinda pointless to do. I'm not saying "don't do it ever because it does nothing" - obviously it provides a distraction, and with enough force and penetration you will eventually get through the static defense - but generally speaking all Zergs should know, if it's past that mid game stage, you really should be setting up lots of defense around your tech to stop from drops coming in.
Regardless I'll take a peek at the rep, sounds good!
Dude, that was vs PandaTank - that guy is fkn gosu..
He was at ESWC - almost 2-0'd Stephano.. took game 1 and was close to game 2.
He's from Sth Africa
well then i feel much better for losing to him haha, if only i beat him, would have felt all macho n gosu n shit
Yeah, PandaTank is really fkn good... Had a few drinks and a chat with him at the ESWC after party - really good dude also! He's in the Razer Academy house in the states atm I think pracc'n hard there..
No shame in losing to him - he'd be up there with the best in SEA for sure.
Speed drop immortals with zealot warp in everywhere is the way I PvZ harras/distract the poop out of them while you expand! Then you can follow up with nice timings. Build is as good as you are.

yeah and look at all the pros who have tried to do this, HerO trying to outclass with warp prisms, look at sheth vs ToD where ToD outplays sheth with warp prisms all game, sheth doesn't even defend well but he's still generating a sick infestor brood comp that can't be beaten.
Using mass warp prism like this doesn't work unless the zerg defends very poorly, timing attacks are definitely the best option protoss have right now against zerg, I think this is demonstrated very clearly by creatorprime.
The things that protoss need to work on is gaining a bigger edge in the early game, so that their 3base timings work much better, creator did that in game 3 vs curious super well in the ro16 gsl.

I pretty much said the same thing as you, harrass is good if you do it to lead up to a timing attack but not if you're just gonna herpderp around with mothership archon or even try for carriers.
The reason why this doesn't really work so well vs good players is that you want to have map presence with your army while doing prism harrass, so that you can target multiple places. This means that your army is in incredible danger when infestors are out, it takes one fungal and you're not going anywhere, chain fungal to death. It can work decently if you have a mothership with recall available though.
Honestly I think just about every korean protoss with good PvZ atm are doing 2-3base timings, and I think that is by far the superior way too play. Creator, Rain, Parting would be the top 3 pvz atm and all do timings.

This, immortal sentry all in at the highest level is dominating the zergs PvZ, just look at Blizzard World Championships.
However if you wanna open macro, I 100% recommend opening any form of phoenix build.
