Hey guys TNClouD here to update Week 02's result of the day,
This week turned out slightly not what we expected, unfortunately several members of the community had problems checking in to the tourney and could not participate but hence definitely I take responsibility to that. I have not stated clearly that you need to check in before the tourney start and only announced this in the chat channel knowing that many members of the community may not see that message so i deeply apologize but everything is learned from mistakes and I hope that you all can return to my tourney with happiness next week below I will state the changes and improvements for the tourney so please read so that you can understand how things run next week.
This week we had a lower count of players than last week due to several human errors and most of our participants has advanced to Masters! A congratulations to people who has especially mGGTitan formerly known as PrOmetheus our first week champion good on ya!! but TN's BSGPD still continued from the rounds of 16 , still with such a high count of Zergs and Protoss, a friendly Terran player RustySCV managed to move to the finals opposing mGG's very own Zeratul, expecting an intense finals the two gentlemen faced off each other on Shakuras Plateau with the first win going to RustySCV but unfortunately our second game on Antiga Ship yard turned out to be something really unexpected.
In the early stage of the game mGGZeratul suspected that his opponent was a Hacker and refused to continued the game, bringing up certain points about the game and previous matches of RustySCV where did seem suspicious to some. So I decided to make two choices :
1. Continue the game allowing game two to be in favor of RustySCV or
2. Re-play game two with admins total observation on the player, due to the fact the game was not clearly anyone's victory and this would be fair to all
But mGGZeratul was not pleased to continue and the victory had to go to RustySCV for a 1-0 we are in the progress of monitoring this particular player and if results prove that RustySCV is suspicious in any way we will take action of removing him from future tournaments, with my decision is final there will be no more question's on why the decision was made, I am going to apologize to all participants for not making the tournament so fun this week but hopefully with the change shown below we will have a better TN BSGPD Friday Weekly #03.
Changes to the Tournament :
1. Check-in will be removed from the tournament - Meaning you will just need to turn up in the chat channel TNWeekly and do not need to check yourself in to be confirmed playing but of course you need to still sign up to the tourney.
2. If number of players are low we will change the format of the tournament eg. this week there is only 16 players and games started in Round 16, we will change Round 16 to a Bo3. - This is to give players a better opportunity to play further in the tournament and have a better chance of making a difference in what the outcome could be.
3. Admins will now at random observe matches, with any reports of players being suspicious please report to us admins and we will perform action.
4. Every two weeks there will be a Special Double Elimination BSGPD. I realized that playing a bo1 in most rounds may take away the fun of joining a tournament so I will make every two weeks have a special double-elim.
That is all the changes guys, I hope that you guys will join us again on the up coming TNBSGPD #03 I will provide the cast of week #02 in the following links enjoy!
