STORY

Borderlands 2 follows the story of four new Vault Hunters as they fight to free Pandora from the clutches of Handsome Jack, the brilliant, charismatic, and utterly despicable CEO of the Hyperion Corporation.

Players will fight across the whole of Pandora to stop Jack from awakening an ancient alien evil known only as "the Warrior." Their quest will bring them into contact with some familiar faces from the old game – most notably, the original four Vault Hunters: Roland, Lilith, Brick and Mordecai. They, along with some brand new characters, will help players defeat Jack, destroy the Warrior, and save Pandora.

Borderlands 2 is almost upon us. I found Borderlands to be absolutely amazing.
The artwork, think of it as playing in a comic book!
The humour, CL4P-TP aka Claptrap is one funny dude.

And a pretty slick skill tree. Yes, they are all viable no matter how you skill.
I hesitate to describe the game as Diablo with guns because of the negativity surrounding the current Diablo franchise, but this game is essentially just that.

You get to play one of the four characters available to you.

The Heroes

I for one, am excited to play the Siren again, she was insanely fun to play in Borderlands. Zer0 looks really really cool too.

The Villain: Handsome Jack



Set five years after the events of Borderlands, Handsome Jack, the game's main antagonist, has taken over the Hyperion corporation, has declared himself Dictator of Pandora and stolen all of the credit for finding the Vault, going so far to claim responsibility for killing the Destroyer. Jack has also blotted out much of the light on the planet by having a giant orbiting H-shaped base set in front of Pandora's stationary moon. The new team in Borderlands 2 is tasked with killing that handsome sonofabitch and returning peace to Pandora.

4 I believe it is a great game for playing with friends, chilling and even having a drink. Isn't too skill intensive or story heavy just good old social shooting fun!

EDIT: Perhaps 5 after reading the DLC class.

The skill trees have been released. I wish they added more specific information to their skills. It's like diablo's basic tooltip descriptions where they use "for a short duration" instead of putting some numbers in.
