From today the remaining aLt members will officially be leaving Team SQL. This is something the aLt team (ninja, hut, delete, stally, myself) have been discussing for weeks now and we tried one last approach with management but unfortunately it didn't go well.
I'm not going to go too much into details, but the reason why we left was similar to the reasons why sensei, yang and infeza left earlier. The players were very patient throughout but there was little focus on the SQL SC2 squad and management and sponsorship were unfortunately not going into the SC2 squad but to the other SQL divisions.
However, we will be still playing in Benji's XGTL and trying to do well as he has put a lot of effort into it and we certainty don't want to unbalance the league by leaving halfway. Good luck to the SQL boys, they are a super young and talented bunch and I hope to see them representing their new teams proudly soon! Most of them have already gotten approached!

BOL to the rest of the guys in SQL - I know I'll be talking to at least one or two more of you guys..
Sad to see that SQL couldn't provide for their SC2 team. I hope, like iM, SQL realise the eSports potential in SC2 and take a serious go at SC2 in the future.
aLt has always been a clan and the only time it morphs into a team is when there's team leagues that don't allow entries solely because of non "pro-team" status.
Woah, good luck ex-SQL guys! Delete and Stallion mostly

They would need to change a lot considering how many players they really annoyed

Tis a shame, because I think SQL really had a good chance to propel their name out there in regards to e-sports. I think using SC2 is probably the best way to do that.
Who knows, maybe Josh and Nate don't have much time to really look properly into things? Lets be honest here, SC2 is a whole different scene compared to CS. Inexperienced maybe? Seeing as most of their background history lies in CS.

As far as I was aware, neither have anything to do with the current iteration of SQL. Sequential as it is now is the same in name only, it was revived by a BF player called Glock in an effort to use the SQL history to gain sponsorships.
I'm unaware if this has changed in the ~year it's been back up though.

The whole thing was just so aLt could play in xGTL anyway wasn't it? Glad to see you'll still be allowed to play!
I think that was more an individual reasoning from Bryan at the time as he wanted to play before he stopped playing and he then became another manager. As we needed all of us hounding to get anything done. All of us wanted to do more with a team its just not how it worked out at all.
As for playing on in xGTL we were orginally going to wait until the end of it just so we didn't muck up anything for Benji as he has put a lot of work into the league and would undermine the scene which would be something no one wants.
Yup as stally said that was my individual reason for joining. Was hoping stally and delete (who was a virtual unknown then) would be looked after well so pulled them in too. Sorry boys

Nothing to apologise for . I think i joined before you from memory from yang anyway :P . I also learnt a lot from the players and infeza from SQL so don't mind this at all. Joining SQL gave me more motivation to play and train and i think because of yang/hut/ninja/dan/infeza and you i have improved a lot so really thank you ^_^ .
Also a saying my dad is fond of a door closes another door opens never know what could happen now ^_^

Kinda sad but I know that the guys were having a lot of issues with the team and although it is sad for the scene to lose the sponsorships, it is for the best. Good luck guys, I know you will all get teams (except old man nirvana, that geezer is too old for this gaming stuff )
