Question: Ender and Jabito are coming down to Singapore. Is it for our own WCS Singapore?
Or is it another WCS event?(it states that this is only open to Singapore and Singapore PR, but I'm still confused)
Edit:
Enderr told me it's a tournament that consist of 2phils, 4sg, 1 thai and 1 malaysia player, so I'm thinking it's like last year's TGX?
Either ways, it means it isn't this event that they're coming for.
Logically, it seems like those 8 players(after Singapore's WCS is done) will play in a tournament for the seed to WCS Asia? (kay I just mindf***ed myself)

Hi all, the registration link for the Singapore WCS event will be up by tomorrow as we are handling multiple stuff on our part and are very packed with the amount of WCS events taking place organised by the ESL worldwide.
I apologise for the delay as we are planning the IEM SEA qualifiers as well. Hope to seek everyone's understanding on this.
In regards to what Zendex is talking about, the finalists from the 3 countries (4 players as mentioned), will be visiting the WCS Singapore event, and we will be hosting their event finals together at the event itself.
The 4 players will compete in their own separate bracket, for the 1 seed to the Asia Continental Finals.
2 Seeds from 'South-East Asia' is allocated for the Asia Continental Finals
1 representative from the WCS Singapore Finals will represent Singapore.
1 representative from the SEA Finals will represent SEA.
As Blizzard Entertainment has explained that Singapore was the only country that will be supporting its own National in the WCS roadplan for Asia, in the region of South-East Asia, we have decided to work with Blizzard Entertainment to support the participation of other players in Thailand, Philippines and Malaysia to get a chance to go to the Asia Continental Finals.
The prize details that are mentioned at the start of the thread are for Singapore Nationals participants, and more details related to the SEA participants will be released in the days to come.
As highlighted, please check back with this thread frequently as I will update it with more information regarding registration procedures, and other event details.
It is important to note that this will be my main outlet of communication for all event participants from Singapore, and that if you are getting your friends to register for the event as well, please ask them to pay attention to this thread for frequent updates.
If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me an email at :

The registration link is up, while the main thread is also updated with the registration procedure already.
Please take note of the registration procedure carefully as it is a requirement to ensure that your event participation is confirmed for this event itself.
Registration will close once we reach 64 players, or by 25 July 2359 hrs (GMT+8) .
Would there be any seedings for the players from the start of ro64 then? think it would help in unnecessary clashes of the strong players at the start!
We will definitely look at the possibilities of seedings for the players, based on previous known performance to give a much better distribution of pro players across the whole bracket for the RO64.
I am seeing a huge amount of participation from Flash eSports and Eve respectively
Nope. Tastosis won't be at the WCS Singapore event, however, they might be at the WCS Asia Finals, this is still unconfirmed. We will be releasing details on caster info early next week!
Yeap, GSL got screwed bigtime for not having that neutral depot there in ByunPrime vs IM_Nestea :\
I am checking with Blizzard regarding this, although if it's being used for all WCS events, there's zero likelihood we can get that particular version.

Hi all! Registrations for the WCS Singapore Qualifiers are closed as we have 64 confirmed players. I appreciate the support given to participate in this event! All confirmed players should have received an email plus the sms of confirmation from us already!
Registration has closed and the brackets for the WCS Singapore National Qualifiers are out! All participants should have received an email about the event itself!
To watch the event of the Top 16 playoffs on Sunday from 12PM GMT+8 (GMT+2, CET 6AM) onwards, you can subscribe or visit the stream URL at : http://twitch.tv/eslsea
Are the seedings determined or are they just randomly generated?
The seedings are determined based on past known performances in SEA tournaments and events including community events in SC2SEA.com for participants who have been active in taking part in community and sponsored events, from the discussion of myself with my admin team. For new players who have registered for the tournaments, your seeds are randomised.
At any point of time, we would want to present the fairest of tournaments for most of our participants who are also long-term players of SC2SEA.com and to give the best tournament possible.
If you have any inquiries or feedback regarding the brackets itself, participants can reply to the email that I sent out for a better explanation of how the team have managed the seedings of the brackets.
Best Regards,
Sixcube/Jasper
