Glad you all did have fun in the tournament and that people got to know each other.
Some of the feedback I got was that it is a community tournament but since people were knocked out early (due to single elimination), most people left after the first hour or so. I do realize that is an issue and will be changing the tournament format to 4 brackets of round robin and the top player from each bracket will play in the semi-finals. Each player should get at least 3-4 games to prove himself and also have more fun and community spirit
I am open to more suggestions/feedback. Be honest guys, if I need to work at certain areas, let me know and I will consider it.
Tentatively, SSL Jan will be on Sunday, 30th Jan. Sign up should be opened Saturday, 8th Jan
i tink its a great idea however i wouldve prefered the top 2 players from each brackets advances to the quarter finals instead of jus 1 player advancing. The winners from every bracket will play against 2nd placed group winners from other brackets. As i do feel tat if the tournie is open to 32 players there would be 8 players in each round robin brackets and if only 1 can advance it will be much harder for players to advance to the next round den jus a normal 32 single elimination till the finals
