Clan QED is desperately looking for Terrans to expand our team!
We only currently have 1 Terran, 1 million zergs and 500,000 protoss.
So you can see the differences in the numbers?
So! I am officially announcing that
we want you!
(points at terran player currently reading this)
I am aiming for terrans that are bronze league to diamond (possible T4 team roster for next season SEAL)
We want active, committed players that also enjoy a good time and the occasional clan wide custom games :P
Please submit all applications to http://qedstarcraft.enjin.com/recruitment and tell us a little about yourself.
If you have any questions about us, the clan or just a general inquiry, feel free to reply to this thread and I will respond as soon as possible
I look forward to meeting you and we welcome all members as equals. no matter the skill level, we will get you to the level you want.
Hey Fridge, you might want to put some quick info in about QED to try to give some upfront disclosure as to what these terrans are getting into, such as:-
1) total number in guild (and a % you believe are active);
2) rough distribution of skill level/division of members of the guild;
3) plans for the next season of SEACL; and
4) benefits of being a terran in QED.
I am sure there are plenty of people out there who have never been in a team/clan, that really dont see the appeal - this is your opportunity to sway them with a verbose description of QED, it's plans and dreams.
best of luck

We have a YouTube . Sorry on train to city for bucks night so not in the most clear of mind. but ......... We have a YouTube join us lol. In all seriousness check house page here on sc2sea for our member lists. Ad write ups showing our commitment to improveing. Note we have recently "signed" ( I just like useing thT word) two new diamonds in Kira and banana who along with schnitzel. And our borderline diamonds fridge, cold, and UpWaiting( our only Terran). We plan on fielding a strong t4 team next seacl season.
And QED not only is an active training hub, always helpful and mannered we also pump out alot of content for our members and anyone else interested. As I said earlier we have a YouTube chaneel with shout casts of our games and tutorials from members. As well as QEDCold regulary streaming with commentary to help those understand Zerg and what a Zerg sees and does.
As much as I want to join, these 2 reasons hinders me from doing so:
1. I'm playing on the Starter Edition and prepaid cards, so I can't join on chat channels and play on most maps if I haven't bought a prepaid card yet.
2. I have school to worry about.
I might consider joining if I could get my hands on the full version of SC2 though, just have to talk my parents out of it.

On the application form, by "evaluation period", what exactly is evaluated from us? Our skill level? Manner? Activeness?

Do I also have to be active on ladder and chatrooms? I usually play on custom 1v1s on Shattered Temple since I'm on the starter edition and I haven't gotten my hands on a prepaid card yet.

The evaluation period is explained on the application form.
It is to evaluate your activeness in the clan. So that I don't get recruits that join, come online 2 or 3 times then never come online again.
When I say 'active' I don't mean just 1v1'ing. I mean in terms of activity with the clan, bnet chat, practices, tournaments etc etc.
I would recommend you do get a full retail copy of sc2 though as the starter edition will severely limit your contribution to this clan.
Once we are happy that you will be an active and committed player, you will be fully accepted.
Are you still looking for a Terran? I'm abit inactive lately on ladder for SEA because of my wrist injury and Uni also feeling not that much motivated..but mmm thinking of joining a clan may boost my motivation to play. I can be active on clan activities, bnet chat, practices etc as long as I get the news.

It is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles; if you do not know your enemies but do know yourself, you will win one and lose one; if you do not know your enemies nor yourself, you will be imperiled in every single battle.

Just wondering, what league are you in? Just curious
Also you have to go through the gauntlet of challenges to become a TRUE member of QED. These include:
Making various animal noises in chatbox
Winning a 2v1 vs Very Easy AIs
Proving to QEDBanana a certain strange fact/myth thing is true (eg. Turtles can fly was an amusing one)
And if you can't tell I'm trolling by now I'm very worried for you
Good to have some more terrans though! HWAITING!
Lolololol I'm a plat Terran who has been inactive the past 2 months been only playing custom games I came from a BW bg transition from BW to SC2 on January around there..but never was motivated to play the game like I did in BW but recently I'm alittle motivated to start playing the game again and I'm in a search for a goal and the answer could be joining a clan and not only playing for myself but also for the clan so yeah :P

Was coached by Meany,Snow,Rane ^_^
We would love to have you in our clan.
If it is rust you are worried about, we have an excellent terran who would be more than willing to help you out (as well as a lot of us in terms of general mechanics)
Yeah, it would be freaking awesome to get more Terrans in the team. I'm going to need the T v T practice. However, I don't think I'll ever be short of v Z and v P practice lol.
