Introduction

Hello Starcraft 2 Sea, I am Thoth, a

level player from

and I am here to tell you of a new, friendly BSGP clan that I and CwnAnnwn have started as a means of practice and generally having fun while improving.

metaGame Gods or mGG is the name of our clan, and we are looking for players within the

–

skill range, our goal is for our members to improve at a steady pace, with mutual encouragement and support to help them achieve their goals, with an emphasis on celebrating individual successes. Eventually, we aim to gain enough members to then begin recruiting above our current recruitment level to further help the clan grow.

Our ultimate goal however is to help our members improve and grow, through a supportive and friendly environment. With that in mind, the reason we started this clan is because we found we improved better when we were supportive of one another, we developed a micro community of sorts, based on improving our overall play and we believe that others could benefit from a focused (but fun) environment, thus mGG was born.

We hold practice sessions on weekends in our chat channel, and in general have games with each other whenever any of our members feel the need to, but for the most part practice is for now, on the weekends, if you want to practice on other days, that is fine as well, as I and Cwn will be online often enough to be free for practice if asked

Once we have enough members I will organise small in-house tournaments for fun and good practice, it will likely be weekly, and will give our members a tangible goal to strive towards, with the basic Bo3 for preliminary’s, Bo5 for the semi’s and a Bo7 for the finals

The only commitment we ask of our members is that they log on once a week for practice, if a clan member can not fill this commitment for whatever reason, they may contact me or CwnAnnwn and tell us that they can not for whatever reason, in which case the clan member would be kept

To apply, simply write a reply or PM me expressing your interest, include your B.Net code, and your B.Net name so that we can contact you in game, and from there you will be welcomed. There is no special requirement to join, the only restriction is that we are limiting recruitment to

Notice!

Due to recent decisions regarding the clan, all member recruitment is to occurr over a much longer period, we have grown so much that we can no longer accept people straight away, we must judge the commitment of all future potential members, for this reason, all recruitment will be done in the mGG chat channel, if you have stayed with us for a week, and are willing to continue, then you will be accepted.

Announcement!

Due to lack of diamond players, we are starting a recruitment drive for diamond players, during this drive, diamond players who apply will not be subject to the procedures in the notice above, and will instead be swiftly accepted after contacting a clan leader and accepting the formal offer to join

Public Practice

Currently, until everything set up, public practice sessions will be put on hold, we do have a public chat channel (mGG) for everyone not in the clan to go to for practice, however, most clan members reside in the private channel, and therefore the public channel is generally not full. However, once public practice sessions begin, there will be a lot of activity in the public channel at specific times

19/02/2012 -Announcement- Well done to MueX and gunslinger who both achieved diamond recently, due to their achievement we shall begin recruitment of diamonds as well as begin a short write up about their progress and their time with us

As a side note, Midas requested that he be relieved of his substitute clan captain position, he will still be helping us in the same way though, just with less responsibility

23/02/2012: Ali, after helping us for so long, has decided to join mGG!. He is also a new substitute captain.

I wanted to be TCP, but I was not plat and they would not accept me, which is understandable, but in the end, TCP is more about competition as well as improvement, currently this clan has the goal of simply helping our members to improve with a supportive environment behind them.

Of course, once we get public practice up and running, TCP is welcome to join at any time ^_^

Also, good idea full stop, will add dates to the next announcements

Maybe you could make a partnership with pracbud, considering that they're trying to provide for a place to meet people. But i reckon this is better cause it's specially tailored for BSG

I have to sadly not recommend this channel or group. I just played one of the "leaders" of the group and got abused. I have the replay to prove it. Quite sad when I only came in to practice and learn. And I get acused of "cheese". CwnAnnwn you should be ashamed of yourself.
I will not have any association with this group and it was my first time in the channel.

MASSIVE update to the OP, that players have to see. In short, some of us broke diamond, we are now recruiting diamonds, and we have attached a notice about the change in our recruitment policy as well as some news. (also a redone clan list, that now displays by race and league
