After weeks of intense competition, dropouts, upsets, and rivalry, the SEACoL is finally reaching its climax - a Single Elimination Playoffs to the DEATHHH
SEACoL is an experimental league that I thought of while studying for finals last year. I envisioned a 'sc2sea-inhouse ladder' where players get to interact and play with people they would otherwise have never even spoken to.
Thus, the SEACoL Main Division was born, where I capped the participants at first 10, then 16, then 20, due to an overwhelming response.
The participants kept flowing in, until I had way too many for a single league - so I decided to form a second league, the Masters Division, for the Masters League players (and whoever dared to challenge them.)
Both divisions ran with different formats, with a fixture-based format for Main Div and a challenge-based format for Masters Div.
With only a single loss this entire season of SEACoL, TADivinity tops the Masters Division league table! He looks to extend his (almost) unbeaten streak well into the playoffs!
Starting off only in Diamond League in the Main Division, Rhuubarb was already a strong force to be reckoned with - and he has powered his way through his fixtures to emerge as the champion of the Main Division. Can his strong run continue in the playoffs?
It's THE CHAAAAAAAADDDD! Does anymore need to be said? Well fine, how about this - a Gold League player, in a league with Platinums and Diamonds, finishing second only to a player who was promoted to Masters. It's THE Chad.
An active player in the Main Division, Badger is one of the few who finished all 19 of his fixtures. Let's see if he can surprise us and beat the Diamonds and Masters in the playoffs!
Yet another high-performing BSG player, Maverick has pulled off numerous upsets including beating deL () and even table-topper Rhuubarb! (). The epitome of the dark horse in this tournament, we'll see if Maverick can continue his upsets in a more unforgiving Bo3 format in the playoffs!
Coming in late to the party, deL still has an impressive record of only dropping one game. We have all seen that he can produce some great articles for the SEACL - but can he produce results in the playoffs?
Little is known about this Platinum player who has fought through tough fixtures to emerge top 8 in the table. Will he be able to take the entire tournament?
He has casted the most intense of tournaments, but can he survive under the same pressure? This sc2sea moderator will be looking to make his mark by taking away the grand prize
One of the most well-liked casters/organizers in SEA, this active, boisterous Frenchman will be setting aside his friendly, warm demeanour and put on a determined, focus mindset when he aims to eliminate all competition in the playoffs
One of the lowest ladder ranked player here in the playoffs, arnor has had an impressive showing in the league stage. Can be continue his success to the playoffs?
A well-liked personality here on the site unlike some of his (ex)clan mates, he is now in a better clan and will hope to do ToR proud! He will try to be the supapower of the playoffs! ( I just had to)
