You must contact your opponent on Battle.net preferably by being in chat channel "BSG" to play your match
You have ~15 minutes to start your Round 1 match; anybody that is not contactable after 10 minutes will be disqualified. This 10 minute timeout rule applies throughout the tournament.
Spectators are only allowed in-game if both players agree
Those listed as tournament admins or official streamers are always allowed to observe your game
Problems/Questions: When in doubt about anything, contact an admin
Reporting Results: After the match has been played, you must report the result by clicking on your name in the brackets through that week's tournament page. This will open the Match Page where you can report your score and upload replays. Uploading replays is required to report successfully.
Disconnects: If a player disconnects, the game must be replayed. If a player disconnects for a second time, his opponent will be awarded a free-win. A win may also be awarded if the player that disconnected was significantly behind at the time of disconnection. Contact an admin if you would like your game/replay reviewed.
Pauses: You must notify your opponent in game if you wish to pause. This pause should not exceed 5 minutes. Excessive pausing in game may lead to disqualification.
Bad Manner will not be tolerated. Anyone caught BMing will be warned. Further offenses will lead to disqualification. Any racist, hateful or excessively derogatory language may lead to removal without warning. We are a friendly group and I'd like to see it stay that way.

Hey just asking about "If you were ever above gold league, sorry, can't let you in", I was Plat once as Terran but I've switched races and am legitimately in Gold. Can I join still?

You're all good MazEi.
Always a hassle combating smurfs considering the quality of the coaching prize =)
As long as you haven't been dropping games or holding off laddering to keep in the lower leagues, dropping league ranking when switching races is expected and fine.
I am trying to join the tournament but it wants me to download file when i try to sign up?
Yeah the z33k thing is really stupid to use. Half the links download as files instead. Just download the file and open it in notepad. There will be a web address in there where you should be going. Just bookmark the important places to make it easier to get to next time.
The z33k site is being updated a lot at the moment as they try to add new games and features.
Sometimes the small updates create small, yet very annoying, bugs due to browser differences. My apologies for any troubles it causes you =\
GL HF tonight everyone, five and a half hours left to register and about ten slots left to register in. Remember that check-in is required for this tournament and will open an hour before the scheduled start time.
Congratulations to Venom who last night fought his way through the whole of the losers bracket after being knocked down in the first round and took both grand final sets 2-0 over XiaXue.
XiaXue did not drop a single game until the grand final sets showing excellent skill all night long and looked to be well in front in the first grand final match until a bad engagement cost him his entire army and Venom's macro pushed the game in his favour. Venom followed this first game with some strong one base play and proved too strong for XiaXue in the end. Well done to both players.
Thank you all for playing, I have updated the OP with details and links to the next tournament. I hope to see you all this coming Saturday

Where can we find the Casts of the games of hte night?
There are links to you and Unique's twitch pages in the table of the original post plus a link to the twitch.tv account the BlitzKrieg and my semis/final cast uploaded to; just check the previous videos, last night should be in there. I'll work on splitting the vids this week and uploading them to my YouTube once the kids go to DayCare on Wednesday =)
EDIT: Sound on the cast Blitz and I did is way not levelled so will not upload this week's matches to YouTube =(
You're still welcome to watch the vids on BlitzKrieg's twitch account though (linked in OP) if you can handle the sound levels.

Yeah it was playing up last night also when I was watching the recording of your stream. It played fine for an hour or so then just stopped loading. I had to refresh the page about every 10min or so after that until the last 40 min where it ran smooth again. Annoying =\
I enjoyed watching your stream by the way. When you're talking about your game it's very informative and a good insight into how a protoss player thinks.
Also, the bits where you weren't playing were like a behind the scenes look at what people are thinking while they're in my tournament waiting for matches and whatever Very interesting for me in particular; probably not for anyone else =P

I will be uploading to YouTube myself, after fixing sound levels. Bit more work involved so will keep posted
Also yes, lots of twitch issues this weekend for all aussie streamers
Hey bronze silver and gold players.
It seems that many of our ranks have been promoted into platinum so there are quite a few places left in Saturday's tournament.
Everyone legitimately in bronze, silver and gold are eligible to play and win the prize so get the word out guys! Tell your friends, tell randoms, tell people on ladder (the ones you beat of course =P).
The night is more fun with a full tournament http://www.z33k.com/z/h97
Unfortunatly i wont be able to participate this weekend guys as i am at the ACL. Looking forward to next weekend! to make another run through the losers bracket!
Grudge match between ThePandarine and AsylumofSouls aka Suipr. Time is set to be an hour before z33k BSG and streaming details to be handled by Suipr :3

^^Entertainment for the early-birds and a good chance for DayNine to sort out his stream before the tournament start.
Remember guys, check in opens one hour before the tournament start time. If you're not checked-in, you won't be placed into brackets.
Also to everyone not yet registered, don't be put off if the tournament has 32/32 players, there are always people who don't check in or unregister during the day so the early ones on the reserve list usually get in.
Hey guys, hope everyone is ready for the night, looking forward to seeing some fresh faces and good players.
I'll be streaming the event tonight at www.twitch.tv/sc2troll.
p.s: i'll be home around 8 o'clock more or less Suipr, but I'll set up everything before I leave
21st January - Wrapup
Congratulations this week go to Illumis taking down the BSG over Welshy, 2 - 0. Welshy showed strong play all night, overwhelming his opponents on the road to the final but Illumis' strong gateway and colossis force was too much for the zerg Welshy to handle in their matches.
Thank you to everyone who played and I hope you all enjoyed yourselves and a very special thank you to Asrathiel who joined us this week as co-admin.
For those interested in watching some vids, DayNine streamed many matches through his twitch.tv channel - here Next week's tournament had been linked in the OP and here.
I'm going back to the best of 3 format for this week to combat the waiting times that are created in the double elimination style. Both tournament styles go for around the same time so I'm thinking that a poll of you guys may decide the future format.
will panda ever get beyond the winners quaer finals? no one knows lol..gg good run again Suipr, have i mentioned how much of a boss y ou are for organizing this? well, YOU ARE THE FKIN BOSS

Thank you and be sure to thank Asrathiel also. Now that she'll be helping out, things are going to get a load more fun. Stay tuned for the upcoming surprises we're working on
Check-in for tonight's BSG opens in 3 minutes.
Everyone who registered must check in if they wish to be placed in brackets.
Still accepting people for the backup list as I'm sure there will be people who do not check in.
28th January 2012
Another week down and we see another v grand final. This week, the victor was the zerg however with WOMBO taking the set 3 - 1 over the protoss refluX with a mix of styles demonstrating strength with early busts as well as macro style. Congratulations WOMBO and refluX and thank you for putting on a great show for the grand final.
My thanks go out to everyone who played this week for keeping the tournament running smoothly and not causing me any admin headaches
I hope to see you all again in the upcoming tournament. Check the OP for updated details or just click here and sign up.
The brackets get created when the tournament starts at 8pm Sydney time on Saturday when all the sign ups and check-ins are finalised.
The matchups are randomly generated and the brackets will be easily accessible through the tournament site. Here are last week's brackets if you want to have a look Asrathiel or I (Suipr) will always be there to help you out on the night if you can't find anything or need help and one of us posts the link in chat to the brackets page to make it easier for everyone once they're generated.
gah....i got promoted to plat just today...and im wondering if i am still eligible for this tournament? i signed up before i promoted...just this morning XD~ maybe just this once? if im not then its fine, no worries
Hi guys.
Just a quick note to say that since there is so much interest this week, I bumped up the numbers to 64 players and made the first two rounds best of one to make sure we don't go too late.
Make sure to spread the word in your clans and on ladder so that we still get close to full Sign up here
Also, I don't know what's going on with the InVisioN guys' tournament; I figured from the info that it was a one off thing and I assume it's still on. You should join up over here if you're interested in playing it also this weekend - http://www.sc2sea.com/showthread.php?t=3514 Next week (February 11th tournament) we're leaving z33k to go fully SC2SEA so that we can be renamed to the official SC2SEA BSG and you guys can get your "tournaments joined" tracker increasing and get some recognition on the site for your wins. I still welcome you to use the z33k platform for your own tournaments. I know from experience it's quite easy to use.
I trust the transition to SC2SEA will go smoothly and you will all join me in moving with no complaints
See you on Saturday.
gl hf
Four hours until the tournament starts
Three hours until check in is open.
Could be a record crowd tonight, keep up the good work spreading the word.
Don't be so busy that you forget to check in though.
Congratulations to both Welshy and Illumis for fighting their way through the tournament and making it a rematch of the Jan 21st grand final tonight!
Both players showed strong play all tournament with hard-fought macro wins sprinkled with cheese culminating in an awesome display of zerg aggression from Welshy held off by equally excellent defense and counter-offense from Illumis. Illumis taking the grand final win 2 - 0.
In a surprising twist, both guys played mirror matchups in the semi finals playing what I believe to be the standout games of the tournament. Quite a rarity for ZvZ and PvP. You can view the Venom and Suipr live cast recording here and final brackets can be found here
Thank you to all players and as many of you already know, I'm very excited to be moving the tournament to the sc2sea.com bracket system next week meaning Asrathiel and I will be hosting the Official SC2SEA BSG #35!
Hope to see you all there
Well done both Welshy and Illumis. I played Welshy in the quarters and he played very very well, I was just sorry that my games weren't awesome for viewers watching the stream, I was getting pretty tried lol.
Still even at my best I dont think I would of taken the series, or at the least I would of had to of played perfectly.
Asylum thanks for running the event, it was a lot of fun
