Admin Update: Moved below OP for easier viewing. I've had a talk with deL we agreed to make the team represent the whole of SEA instead of just the ANZ region, as this site after all represents the entire SEA community. deL will manage the team.

Important Dates: The first online qualifier will begin Monday, January 9th at 05:00 a.m. AEDT (Sydney, Melbourne).

Our second online qualifier will be on Monday, January 16th, also at 05:00 a.m. AEDT (Sydney, Melbourne).

Format: Single Elimination. The format of each match will be Winner's Format best of 9. The first map of each round will be determined by IPL, and the first players for each team will be declared to an IPL admin before the match begins. The default server for this tournament is North America unless both teams agree to play a game or series on another server. The top two teams from each of the two qualifiers will be seeded into the main tournament against our invited teams!

If we actually qualify then that would be some amazing exposure and maybe attract more sponsors for our players. If not it was fun anyway. As its a fun team players can wear tags of their original sponsors so I don't see the issue. The only issue i see is waking up at 4am.

Yep we were already discussing an Australian dream-team

I think it's almost required because individually clans are too small to get a competitive lineup all awake at 4am haha.

EDIT: I think some people might be keen to enter their individual teams (Xeria Gaming, etc.) into this NASL one so we could do that - try get a lot of individual SEA teams signed up for NASL seeing you only need the 4 players min, and in the bigger Bo9 one for IPL we have the dream team

Naw son day 2 of the NASL event is on the same day as the IPL one so there might be a bit of juggling of players - not a certainty though.

Just mentioning the teams top players of each team.
First round: eSahara - Check, Maka, Naama
My guess's to who Anzac will have to vs if make it past eSahara
Second round: imba.FXO - Sterlok and BratOK
Semi's: Incredible Miracle - MvP, Nestea, Losira, Happy
No clue who will make it to the finals in the lower half.
If I'm to be honest Anzac should focus on the second qualifier. Anzac has a hard run to make through this qualifier.

In addition, JazBas almost had Maka! I think if TargA was available to play maka right after jazbas (I asked but he couldn't

) instead of using RA in TvT we might have had a shot. RA vs Check would have been a more advantageous matchup. Oh well hopefully there's another next week! We were down a bunch of sydney players (iaguz, pig, rossi) cos of the LAN.

We're confirmed for the next IPL one on Monday 16th at 5AM. The NASL one can be found here (Should be 5AM on Sunday morning) but I am just waiting to hear from Benji about whether xG is entering on its own, as that will determine our lineup.
