Date: November 26, schedule below
Location: Arena Internet Cafe, 264-268 Rundle Street, Adelaide SA 5000 (in between Al Fresco and Piatto)
Hey, had an absolute blast. Cheers for Frequency for running the damn thing and setting it all up, cheers to Champi for giving me a place to stay the night, thanks to everyone who supported me and enjoyed my games, and thanks for not being as weird as the tgun fanclub (no offence to the man himself, but just what the **** was that?!).
Couldn't quite get there in the end but I played a lot of really good games and I'm happy with my result tonight.

[07-10, 22:00] PiG Unfortunately I'm incredibly lazy so most of my video footage is just me and iaguz in bed
As always, Arena LAN was fantastic and as always I'll keep returning to Frequency's monthly(ish) gigs. Mad props to that guy for putting on a great show.
Was awesome to meet some more of SEA's talent at SA's most star studded event. Got to have a bit of a chat with every one of them and even got a back rub from Noodle (no homo). As always, SA's best were there to put on a good show (Bielsko finally being able to take out EdgE!) but seems like iaguz, PiG and tgun were too good for them in the end.
Better luck next time Radelaide Hope to see interstate boys continue to visit

Let's just call it an elaborate troll of me, and never speak of it again.

Sadly I couldnt go there due to other commitments also being sick (so it probably was a good idea not to go there.) From what I got to see on the stream ...
Bielsko took all the way to Iaguz using a modified 4 gate mostly vs zerg. Iaguz was able to take him out as Terran. Iaguz then went on to fight Tgun. It was a two match series Iaguz needing to win two bests of three due to the previous results. Iaguz was abile to take the first of the series. The second series went to an Ace match which Tgun was able to take.
Big thanks to Frequency for once again holding a smooth running tournament. Had a great turn out and was awesome to see some big interstate names coming down and showing off their skills.
Mad respect for Bielsko for smashing his way through the tournament using some really unorthodox play. Good to see the use of some unique builds rather than the usual 'standard go-to' builds. Very well played mate. You surprised us all!
And what to say about the final?! Absolutely epic!! Congrats to tgun and iaguz for putting on a truly amazing final series. Watching iaguz manage a comeback from tgun's blingbust of TDA was a game I simply will never forget. Congratulations to both of you once again
Said it in various places but the LAN went great! Many sick games throughout the tournament, a great turnout and everything went smoothly. A lot of fun stories and laughs too :P.
Congrats to tgun for finally getting the win, and iaguz was happy with his 2nd, and will eventually get a 1st. Also special mention to Bielsko who mentioned to me it was one his goals to finally beat me, so it was great to see his for lack of a better term 'good' build order tear through me and pig.
Been discussing bielsko Eco 4 gate build a lot and without testing my theorycraft summarises it as the perfect build as long as opponent doesn't know its coming. And even then its baller as hell. Seriously this build is nuts. At first after losing i was badmouthing it as straight up dieing to 1 base roach rush but this would have to be the roach rush that dies to almost anything and the other way is a hatch first into crazy low Eco roach aggression! So it appears to only be blind counterable but testing is required!

Haha, the theorycraft was off the fuckin charts! We will come up with something..
As far as I can see the VODS are not up yet? Please make it happen

Azz had a chance at this one point in the game where he had a nexus and 6 probes. But he found a way to **** it up from there 3 times in a row - Iaguz
I seriously want to try that out vs Zerg, looked really awkward to deal with. If he used chrono on probes/forge upgrades/anything at all in his varient vs Terran and maybe threw in the robo switch a little earlier it has the potential to be really strong there too, as to the overall day i thought it was awesome and had a blast despite being in zombie mode by the end lol
Oh woops, forgot to post here/finalise the bracket, lol. Was too busy being yelled at by people that wanted to play LoL.
Anyway, Cam posted the results just before (brackets at http://www.challonge.com/arena1k) - congratulations to tgun for winning.
Huge thanks of course to everyone that came to play, spectate and (lol tgun) cheer, couldn't happen without you. Huge huge huge thanks to Raithen for giving us like 20 pizzas (well, 18, since we couldnt use one of the coupons, so I guess I got 2 free pizzas for myself LOL) that were devoured in like 10 minutes by everyone. One of the regulars took a huge bunch of photos, and I'll make sure I link to them here when they get posted on Facebook. Of course thanks to FXOpen (www.fxopenesports.com) for streaming the event
I'm pretty happy with how the day went, could've gone a bit smoother (ie. the ******* big TVs actually working), but I think it went pretty good. Any suggestions/criticism/ideas are more than welcome.
That was my first LAN event so im obviously speaking from no experience but i thought 1. It all ran smoothly and 2. That it was awesome fun and made me want more lol kudos Marc, great work man
