MC Internet is hosting its third SC II competition between its internet cafes in Melbourne, Auckland, Perth, and Hamilton on Sunday, 4 December 2011.

Competition details are:

Start Time: Perth - 9:30AM | Melb - 12:30PM | NZ - 2:30PM

Entry: $10 per person

Prize:

First place - $350 Cash + $100 membership credit
Second place - $100 Cash + $100 membership credit
Third place - $50 Cash + $50 membership credit
Registration closes: Midnight Sunday, November 27

Format: Group stage -> Single Elimination BO3

Map Pool:

- GSL Daybreak
- GSL Dual Site
- MLG Shattered Temple
- Antiga Shipyard
- Shakuras Plateau
- Tal Darim Altar
- Xel'Naga Caverns

Event Locations:

Melbourne: Level 1, 276 Russell Street, Melbourne
Auckland: Level1, 62 Victoria Street West, Auckland
Perth: Shop2, 114-116 Murray Street, Perth

Has anyone contacted MC Gaming to see if they're interested in postponing? 32 of the best players in SEA are gonna be tied up that day! It'd be unfortunate to see them lose participants due to overlap.

Well live tournies are awesome and I'll be going to the melbourne on for sure, but its a shame with the timing of Dox's tourny though, an alternative date might be better.

Should it not be 9am start in Perth instead of 10, if 12 Melb and 2 NZ?

Unfortunately, we cannot postpone the comp date as we have something else tied up the next weekend. However, to get around the Dox Cup issue, I believe we can allow the participating players some time off to play their Dox Cup games when they are on.

The previous 2 have been at A'beckett Street, not the other venue, so i'd assume it would be there again.

i feel really bad for yang about missing his dox cup matches for this.

apparently he was told the MC here would be open at 8 (when his match vs grubby was scheduled) so he could play, but we were waiting outside untill about 9:20

Congrats to Jazbas indeed! Massive weekend of Sc2 for him. Won this and Auckland Lan, plus 3rd in Dox Cup!

Was happy enough with my performance. 2nd in group (5-2), made the R16. Something to build on for next time.
