So i've been laddering like crazy today since I had the day off. Start off with something like a 60% (6W - 4L) win rate and the end of the day was like 10 wins to 17 losses ROFL. Towards the end was disappointed by my inconsistency and being kinda frustrated (got cannons rushed and didn't see in time), I faced this guy called Shimeji. I played him once before during the day and got thor rushed vs my 1 Gate expand, but played sloppily that game so thought nothing of it lol.

Planetary fortress "push", Terran imba at its finest rofl

Although I could have stopped it if I wasn't so focused on the battle at the front (simply don't let the CC land) When I looked back at my base I was like "lol what's this"
Makes me want to play terran lol They just seem so flexible, compared to protoss =[

Oh well.

What are some strats you've done or have been done to you that made you laugh (or rage for that matter xD)?

Terran ill Planetary Fortress or do a Ghost drop and just snipe everything. Was a fan fo the Battlecruiser rush with SCVs repairing pre patch as well. Heh it actually won me a lot of games.

Zerg, if its vs a Z ill proxy evo chamber their gas or if its ona map with a ledge ill Spine crawler on the ledge of thier expansion. Proxy hatch in thier base and make Spine Crawlers

Protoss, just mass Phoenix

:P You could have proxied a CC and floated it in with 5 scvs and you'd have done the rush at the same time.

I used to void ray rush and sometimes people go "cheese!" or rage it at me. I once got 6 swear words in a sentence bahaha. VR from 15 armoured to 8 sooooo nerfed eyy. VR starting dmg +1 but you only really use them for buildings and when they are fully charged. I don't know how to use them anymore.

Yeah void rays are pretty bad now... hard to find a good use for them. Even White-Ra commented that his void ray rush against zerg is bad now hahaha

And yes I was on the receiving end of that PF rush =.=; 3 more hits and i could have destroyed it before it morphed >.<

Probe rushing at ~15 supply while constantly chronoboosting at the right times is literally unstoppable against un-walled terran players.

I once played against a Terran player on Metalopolis, he lifted off and landed his CC on the gold expo. Needless to say, I scouted all 3 possible spawn spots, and I was like "wtf?" when I saw he wasn't anywhere. Still won the game though, although I had to deal with a lot of marines.

people used to do that alot in beta till some1 did a study on how its actually worse to do that, mainly because gold minerals mine out so fast.

On 2v2 matchup where my teammate is zerg and my opponent is zerg he proxy spine crawler in the enemy supply line at first i just WTH!?!? but it just made an insta-win.... i was so LOL.....

That still works 50% of the time in Platinum. It's a bit sad really.

Yea, I chanced about this post when I was surfing. I was teamed up with my 2 friends from the wc3 days and I was like "Hey its cow and that mad 5000 random win guy from wc3 (Edra i think), we better tier 1 rush them down" (I don't recognise Tendersteak tho, sorry >.<)

I was once cannon rushed, but i stopped it in time with a ledge spine crawler, and i was not happy, so instead of playing normally, (scrap yard) I built myself a nydus and nydused him from behind. I then proceeded to build spine crawlers behind his base. A taste of his own medicine! 4 banelings wrecked his workers. I think I have the replay, i'll go look for it.
There was another time where i played this guy ZVZ and it was a massive cheese fest. we cheesed each other so hard and it was so funny because we had the exact same strategy,and our transition to muta met in the middle between our bases ^^.

i've tried all sorts of funny strats. everytime i see one, i try to do it as well. in general, most don't have very good results in 1v1s. its a little better for 2v2s.
in team games, my favourite is to feint photons. have 2 probes into a person's base, 1 about 5 secs after the other. most times people see the first probe walk in but completely miss the second. they try to stop the first but lose to the second hidden one.

another one i tried is to place 1 single pylon at the exact spot where terrans will wall in with their 2nd supply depot just above the ramp. the usual practice is for the terran to slowly destroy the pylon with his marines once they are out---upon which my ally's zerglings will immediately rush in before terran makes a replacement depot. the cost of 100 minerals is cheap compared to other alternatives of breaking down the supply!

I never cheese in ladder games because it doesnt work that often. Im at bronze on SEA and at silver on American server so i know that when i vs ppl 1v1 for funzies in chat channels i will get steamrolled if i play standard.

What do i do?

I do every cheese known to man in front of 20 spectators...they tell me at the end of each game it was hilarious.

I tried zealot rush (failed)
Planetary fortress rush (failed)
Proxy hatchery (worked)
Maka Racks (worked)
12 done rush (terran stood no chance, so imba)

I love to cheese in chat channel 1v1's. Makes people laugh and a good game to save and just watch 3 months later..."Oh yeah! That's when i tried to land a cc on creep and make it PF before i had an engineering bay!"

I think the most hilarious strat for T is to kill a worker at start and load all 5 workers into CC and lift off to a corner, and say something like "synchronization error" and hope the opponent leaves when cant find the cc

I saw it on Youtube one and some guy actually leaves the game. When the guy types "has left the game".

I'm a zerg player and i'm in silver league. I found that most people can't see nydus worms until they pop out, and then they just gg cos they got 30 lings taking out their base. I want to know why nydus worms are never used in pro games. They cause fear and hence force mistakes. I know it costs a lot to build a nydus network but by the time ur on 3 bases it is essential to attack the enemy base without all the enemy's units blocking ur way

I have honestly never been troubled by nydus worms. There's the first five seconds after you hear the scream where you get worried but there are only a limited number of places for zerg to put it without being instantly found and killed. Some pro's use it often but most use it as a situational thing.

Funniest strat I've seen was a pf wall on shakuras pvt. I was massing gateway units and just went WTF. He eventually lost because doing the wall cost heaps.
