With the announcement of Intel Extreme Master's first event in season 6, we'd like to share the details on how to qualify for the South East Asia Region.

1 player from South East Asia is eligible to attend the IEM Global Challenge at Gamescom. Here is how we will determine who this player will be:
-2 Qualification slots at Go4SC2 Cup 11 - July 3rd 2011
-2 Qualification slots at Go4SC2 Cup 12 - July 7th 2011
-2 Qualification slots at Go4SC2 Cup 13 - July 10th 2011
-2 Qualification slots at Go4SC2 Cup 14 - July 14th 2011
1 IEM slot at SEA Final (Championship Brackets) - July 15th - 16th 2011

This means you have 4 chances to qualify for for the championship brackets. The top 2 of each Go4SC2 will be qualified. The faster you can qualify, the better your seed will be.

Not really, just because the 'seed' is a lower number doesn't make it better. The best player could be the 8th seed if he only decides to qualify in the last tourney.

To expand on Del's point, assuming players want to avoid Glade and hope someone on his half of the bracket beats him, the best seeds are 2, 3, 6 and 7.

Well the monthly finals on last night proved that TA's terran are more than capable of dealing with the formidable zerg players in our region. But, then again that was one tournament.

And yes, I meant Bnet SEA, I just wasn't thinking when I took the template from the ESL website. Well, it is about optimal seeds I suppose, but basically the first 8 are the ones who qualify.

It's a shame deth went down the way he did after some epic matches against mOOnGLaDe but he wore TargA out to ensure he was more than avenged by Rossi in the finals!
