Hi, I'm a mid-level diamond toss player, and I've been experimenting with some 3 gate timing (+1 weapons) in pvz and it always seems to fail.
I never have enough units to deal enough damage to either economy or units.
So, if anyone has any useful timings or BOs that would be great.

It sounds a little to me like you're applying the same general thought process as say a 3gate blink timing but transposing +1 instead... what time are you moving out and what is your composition when you do?
... also... what is beating you and did you know of the tech before you moved out?

Problems:
- Forge and +1 Upgrade: 250 minerals + 100 gas = 2 Stalkers OR 2 Zealots + 1 Sentry (in an early push, every unit is valuable for P)
- Even if you timed +1 and Warp Gate to finish at the same time, you won't have enough Chronoboost for both compared to if you were doing a regular 4 Gate so it'll always be more delayed than a 4 Gate (which, given the nerf, makes it much more easier for Zergs to defend against now).
- The only notable benefit of +1 is allowing Zealots to 2 shot Lings, so it's not overly effective seeing as Zerg also have Roaches as Tier 1 units which can kite Zealots on creep.

As much as it sounds like I'm shooting you down with theorycraft (which I hate to do), hopefully it explains a few weaknesses of what you're trying to aim for.

It's very hard to put 3-gate pressure on a 2-base zerg, slings will own you. 3 gate into TC is pretty much your only option.

Check out this thread; http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/view...opic_id=182108 and download the VoDs from there. It's a PvZ coaching lesson someone had with iNcontroL - I watched it a while back (when I had the time) and it seriously changed my PvZ, especially the applying 3gate pressure while expanding.
