I've updated the post, and added a requirement of skype or similar mic chat program, and a working microphone. The person being coached will not require a mic, but it would improve the session regardless.

I'll give coaching Protoss a go. I'm low Diamond level and have recently got back into playing regularly after a two month break at the beginning of the year.

I dont mind helping out with coaching for a little bit although it may be a little bit on and off once assigns/exams start to pile up towards the end of my uni semester. I have been out of sc2 for quite a while and my strats/builds may be a little outdated as well. ^^

This is a signup thread for the coaches, who can coach BSG winners as a prize. Not for people to ask for coaching.

Thanks to anyone who has signed up so far! I'll try to keep the coaching balanced between grandmasters/masters players and possibly diamonds. Although, that depends on the preference of a BSG winner and availability of the grandmasters/masters players. Diamonds and plats can also serve as easy replacements if grandmasters/masters players are not available. Thats the current plan, at least.

So if you're in grandmasters league, at most you'll probably be coaching for one hour every three weeks. At most. Since we've got so many coaches, I'll ensure the best use is made of all of them, based on skill level.

Also, Im thinking of in the future doing VODs for BSG level players, in which some underused coaches could be used to go over matchups, builds, theory, mechanics, etc. Could possibly try to do that like MrBitter's 12 weeks with the pros, but with the SEA community instead. That'd benefit the BSG community as a whole, which really is a good goal to have. Of course, that'd also mean free advertising at the end for the coach who participates, or just free time in the spotlight.

Here's my short story of my BSG days.
I was new to the game. Placed in bronze and was very hot tempered everytime I lose to a rush
So I watch a couple of day9 vids and replays of top players
The most important part I feel is watching your own replay and understand why you lost
And in the next game try to improve.
I don't believe in sticking to builds or build orders.
It limits you and it is the wrong way of playing of starcraft or any rts.
All you need to know is race mechanics and the maps and you are good to go.
I won a bsg and on the same day, i got promoted to platinum.
Three days later, I got promoted to diamond and now I am high diamond.
So I can give a some insights on the different skill levels as well as the style of play in different leagues.
I would love to help out other fellow BSG players progress just like I did.

Also, cendacan, this isn't the best spot to ask for coaching, especially if you're on the EU server.
