Hey guys heres your chance to vote on who you wanna see in our upcoming players feature!!
Fah - Underrated Thailand Player who won Bracket A and obtained Code S status.
PiG - Underrated player who honed his skills on NA. Recently took down Sydney Charity Lan and finished #2 in Code A bracket A.
jump - 2nd in masters cup and 2nd in community open in the same week. Previously manager of thailand who transitioned into a great player. cough del where are you!
rossi - solid terran, runner up to pig @ cityhunter
sanchez - consistant zerg that performs well online and offline
scarecrow leader of TA, solid protoss that most people look past
Mski.Jabito - Pinoy zerg emerging from nowhere to get #3 in CnZ and genreally do well in tournaements
He started dominating the Philippine StarCraft scene since 2009 with SC1 in StarFeeder Pinoy StarLeague defeating WCG 2007 Quarterfinalist, SteelHeart in the finals.
To follow-up his victory, he went on dominate finishing top 4 consistently in 2010's two Alienware Mineski Progaming League falling behind to the likes eXo.BLaZeR, and MSH.YaX (who is now Mineski).
When SC2 was released, he immediately made the transition. October 2010, EnDerr completely destroyed everyone only dropping one game to Mski.Davsp in the group stages. On his way to finals, he defeated the likes of QNST.hellfire, QNST.def and Mski.Morvhin (all considered top PH players).
His latest achievements include winning Philippine StarCraft 2 League (defeating eXo.BLaZer in the finals), PSC-OSG Grand Prix (defeating Mski.JaBiTo in the finals) and most recently the Wawa Quickie Tournament Series (defeating Mski.JaBiTo again in the finals).
His impressive run so far including his 2nd place finish in SEASL Code A Bracket B has led me to make a nomination for him.
Slot 10- You????
We have one more slot open so please nominate any suggestions below.
This feature is meant not for established players, but to highlight new and upcoming players or underrated players who have suddenly name a name for themselves and who people are curious about.
I wouldn't classify iaguz as up-and-coming. He was one of the top Terrans in beta and competed well in the very first Australian SC2 tournament, losing to pinder and glade to take 3rd place:
I feel that we need to have some more non-SG or aussies players. There are already too many of them and it doesn't feel SEAish anymore.
Well... LennX, you have a point, but this IS the best players - and I don't think it depends on nationality.
I voted for scrawL, I was casting him last night and he seemed like he had great potential in being a very competitive player. i'd love to see a player that is not as known around the SEA community to get better and rise to the occasion.
I definitely think ScrawL, anybody else thinking about switching to Zerg and getting lessons from Glade? With the new infestor buff, my thoughts are becoming more frequent.
For the tenth slot, I nominate EnDerr from the clan eXorbitant. He started dominating the Philippine StarCraft scene since 2009 with SC1 in StarFeeder Pinoy StarLeague defeating WCG 2007 Quarterfinalist, SteelHeart in the finals.
To follow-up his victory, he went on dominate finishing top 4 consistently in 2010's two Alienware Mineski Progaming League falling behind to the likes of eXo.BLaZeR, and MSH.YaX (who is now Mineski).

Yah but how many tournaments has Thailand won? Zero that's exactly how many. The only conclusion we can draw is that JuMP was a terrible manager so made a good player and I am a shit player so am therefore possibly the best manager this world has ever laid eyes on.

All of them are so good, Fah is definitely the best of them but unfortunately i haven't played him myself yet.
PiG, Rossi and JaBito all seem really good, and since i've had personal practice with Rossi for 3 weeks (His TvZ has improved so much), i'm gonna go with him on that.
Would like to see Jabito get featured and keep pimproving his play, watching that guy in the Allstar's tourney i was like, wow this guy's is GOOD.
A zerg that macros whilst counterattacking constantly? Unheard of!
When I first found Jabito, he was fresh off from DotA. He only knows how to micro his units. However, I saw the potential in him and took him in the Mineski clan (READ: UNsponsored... up to now). His execution and micro is insanely good. One of his first games that I watched was he used four infestors to neural parasite four thors to win a game that is otherwise unwinnable. I said to myself that this kid is something. He even jokingly said that buildings should macro by themselves and just let the players micro the units.
However, he was really willing to improve. He encountered the local top players who were complete bosses at macro. Ever since then he realized that if wants to beat these monsters, he has to be a monster.
The CnZ also took me by surprise. I was expecting him to drop to loser's bracket in the first round.

btw guys if you click on the numbers you can see who voted for who, now this is truly what you call a popularity contest, not the code s voting.
all alt voting for pig, all ta voting for rossi, all pinoy voting for jabito lol!!!
in hindsight i should have followed what i did in code s voting - disallowing voting for clansmates or for yourself (rossi cmon dude, TArossi voting for rossi lol!)
and unstable why did u vote for "TBD!" what!
any suggestions on what to do with these votes (discount clan/reset) or just roll with it as it is?
I don't think we should use this system. This is more like the "i want my friend to be featured" way of doing things. I don't think its about featuring someone whom you practiced with and think has potential, but rather previous no-names that suddenly performed well in tournaments. There should be something black and white as a requirement like a great run in a tournament, even if some feel that it is a one-off.
Either you have votes and make it a popularity contest or you think of something else, you don't doctor the votes under the assumption everyone is biased. TA probably just knows Rossi better than anyone else there so can't justify a vote for someone else as he seems like a good candidate - it's not always just blind voting for your teammate (otherwise sanchez and scarecrow would also have votes). Similarly for Jabito, he is known in the Pinoy community so they recognise someone they can vote for who deserves it.

The man of a thousnads truths poses a question of great attention, how about the peoples champion, the king of the cage, the hero of my heart Skrawl the second, a everyday hero living on the street trying to clean up crime so that everyday citizen can live a better life. Well to be honest I agree Skrawl is a one of the best players I have ever seen, to better explain this I will take this story back to 1964 when we were fighting the Germans in the Opium wars together in France, he was back then as always a handsome intellectual man that any women would want to be on the 12th moon of sun. He told me his dreams to one day be a professional starcraft player and told me his dreams and goals of his hard work with determination he will achieve his ultimate goal, and this was always his formula his dedication towards his dreams and ambitions have always been the same since the ice cream factory of 86 and then onwards to the future he has keep alive the way in which he achieved his way in wayward pool thrilling circulate world of the left. This is way a nominate kringe to be one if not the premier up and cuming player in the southern hemisphere, long live the king, long live emperor skrawl. (P.S. not to be confused with Scrawl).

With this I forgive you for that two cheeses in the previous tournament, respect
I remember the day clearly - 27th of May 1992. 'Twas a dark and stormy night, with nary a cloud on the horizon. The nurses were whispering to themselves, their trepidation etched clearly on their faces, their fear palpable in the warm summer heat.
I wandered from hall to hall, looking for the harbinger of our demise, my heartbeat quickening as my sound of my footsteps echoed down the grim halls.
I heard a scream. A chilling scream.
I swiveled on the fly and ran in the direction of the scream.
The scream grew louder and louder as I closed in on its source and as I turned the corner, I stopped in my tracks.
The tableau before me was horrifying.
The nurse was holding a baby, but it was like no baby I had even seen.
It let out a shrill unearthly cry - at the time I did not know what it was, but now I recognise it as the chilling cry of a zergling hatching - and looked at me.
I am ashamed of this, but I ran.
I ran for my life.
I have been having nightmares of that day since then.
These nightmares have been becoming more frequent.
I know he's coming.
Even now I can hear his claws clacking against my front door.
