Diablo III's global game servers are grouped into three distinct game regions:

The Americas - For players in the US, Canada, Latin America, Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia.

Given the proximity of D3 release and the input I have put into this community as of late I would like to have my application reconsidered. I was fairly new when I applied some months ago and note I am still on the pending list. No hurry just would be great have an answer either way ♥

Relevant experience:
Diablo I Rogue: Got a legitimate Rogue to level 47/50. Actually legit, no trading, no receiving items of other players, etc.
Diablo II: Sunk thousands of hours into over the years, got Amazon, Paladin and Druid into 90s over time.
StarCraft II: I suck on ladder, but I do the whole achievement scene pretty well, kinda my thing. Profile here.
Diablo III: Played my fair share of beta, followed the game very closely.

I've been a long time poster on the StarCraft II Battle.Net forums (see above profile link for evidence).
Been providing content in my little niche when I can on YouTube.com/ScottishMoo

I also occasionally rescue cats that are stuck in trees, only on occasion though. I don't help old ladies cross the road though.

I doubt I'll make the highest levels of PvP play, but you won't find me being inactive as a community member. That's for sure.

So seeing how D3 is out in one week, we should really get some information finalized and posted on the first post so everyone knows what is happening.

From reading the posts this is what I have concluded so far

Server = The Americas
Clan tag = d3sea (can anyone confirm if you can have numbers in the name?)
Channel = ?

Would be nice if this information was confirmed before servers go live.
P.S I heard EB games will allow you to buy the game May 15th (Tuesday morning 9:00AM) but depending on your time zone servers wont unlock until later in the day.

Below I have pasted a blue post giving more information as to which times the server unlocks for Australia and New Zealand.

While heroic adventurers hailing from Australia and New Zealand can purchase a copy of Diablo III directly from www.diablo.com, they can also pick up the game at their favourite retailer on Tuesday, May 15th beginning at 9 AM local time.(9 AM NZST/9 AM AEST/9 AM ACST/9 AM AWST)

For a handy reference, the game servers will go live at:

New Zealand Standard Time: 7:00 PM
Australian Eastern Standard Time: 5:00 PM
Australian Central Standard Time: 4:30 PM
Australian Western Standard Time: 3:00 PM

Does anyone know how the naming system is going to work for the characters? I read at one point that your name will be identified via your account name rather than what you call each of your characters. Not sure if they changed this in the end. So I might call my account Delraich, but call my barbarian Bob (or whatever). Would the d3sea go in front of my account name or character(s) name or both?

Members: Whoa 80 members already, awesome!
Server: We will be playing on the American Server
Clan Name: im leaning towards is D3SEA or SC2SEA. I havent decided yet!
Channel: sc2sea (lets keep our history!)
Voice server: The mumble one provided by sc2sea, we already have a D3 Channel set up!

Players who have ordered D3 Digitally from SC2SEA are very likely to get their codes on the 14th of May MIDNIGHT. This is when the alternative supplier we are getting the codes from has been allowed to release it. (We are getting from 2 distributors, one just for the SG and one for everyone else) So I will get the codes in the afternoon but can't release it till the official time given from blizzard to my international distributor.
