Pretty sure, there were quite a few no shows so they might decide to just allow players to play the rest of the games tomorrow, not sure.
kk. I'll consider myself eliminated but please let me know if theres any changes to reorganising matches. tbh, I don't see the point of not letting us postpone our(my) matches when I did ask for it abit in advance when it doesn't get live streamed? same with tgun's situation aswell where there was miscommunication(or no communication).

Hey there JazBas.
We were unable to postpone your matches due to other members of your group not being readily available at a later time. The only remaining time we have left to postpone your matches to would be sometime before the games on Sunday, which start at 11am. Which means to play your matches, people from your group would have to log on a good 2 hours before, say 9am, to get through your matches (which would all be Bo3) and possibly any tiebreakers. And knowing Murphy's Law, something would probably get in the way of that finishing on time. Not to mention one of those players would possibly be 0-2 in the group and probably not really feel like playing the next day anyway, that's pretty rough.
You can see how in this situation there is almost nothing we could've done. The schedule has been what it is for a full three-four weeks with absolutely zero changes, your family planning a holiday trip was not factored into this due to us not being telepathic. It being live streamed or not doesn't factor into it.

Unfortunately, we can't do this.
To cover the no-shows: YYJ was unable to show because of an emergency. Iaguz I have no idea about. JazBas had a family trip, Tgun got confused with the schedule.
To cover disappearing emails: An email was sent to everyone. If you were ever unsure about the schedule ,we linked all players an information package when they agreed to participate in the APL that detailed the entire schedule as well as rules for the tournament. I'm easily contactable, we have a website with contact info, we have a twitter and a facebook. When the players play has been detailed in various threads http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/view...opic_id=285113 , and this thread before the main post got changed to reflect the group stages There has even been mention of this in this exact thread on the page before this one. If you still feel there wasn't enough notice, then **** it I'll try harder next time and I'm sorry. APL2, bigger better and possibly with more breasts.

No first tournament is perfect, we'll be much more proactive in pushing reminders and notifications in the future."
This is all that you've needed to say, all tournament, really; as long as the criticism is heard, future tournaments will surely be better. I'll be tuning in for the finals broadcast~

Yes I completely understand it if the reason is that (Other players not being able to attend other times). With the contacting, maybe next time yeah could've been better since I didn't know how to contact u at all+didn't get an email at all. Like expect a confirmation reply back and find out whats the problem if you didn't get a confirmation reply from players. Hope the rest of tourney goes well ^^
Hahah, while the results can be gleamed from clicking through match histories and we can't stop players from talking about them, if you want that suspense you should probably stay away until Saturday/Sunday
All players have been paid, and we look forward to showing some exciting games this coming weekend And lastly JazBas: yep, absolutely. All we can do is apologise right now for our mistakes and come back next time more prepared.
