bit lacking in the gpu :3 i presume this is a music/graphic production based rig?
I do a bit of programming, but it still handles all the games I've played in the last 2 years without any trouble at all, so no need to upgrade yet. Not lacking at all
intel 2500k
msi frozr II
8GB Corsair Vengeance RAM DDR3
Corsair tx 750w PSU
Seagate... 500gb and 1.5 tb HDD
HDD under the dvd drive was replaced by a 64GB Corsair SSD

You can only overclock if it's a K-Unlocked Processor like 3770K, 3570K, 2500K 2600K...etc.
Stuff like a normal 2500, 2600, 3470, 3570, 3770 NON-K processors Cannot be overclocked.
Abit wasted if you have an overclocking Motherboard but you don't have an unlocked processor.

Oops (slacked out on a bit of research there), doesn't bother me that much as wouldn't be able to uitilise it. At least it has the ability to turbo to 3.9 if i ever do need a little more.
The 3770 has a turbo boost function if it's enabled in BIOS to clock it up to 3.9 GHz when under heavy load. You can, however, adjust the BCLK which might get you an extra 100 MHz onto your clock speed.
OPERATING SYSTEM:
Windows 2.6.1.7601 (Service Pack 1)
CPU TYPE:
Intel® Core™ i7-3770K CPU @ 3.50GHz
CPU SPEED:
3.48 GHz
SYSTEM MEMORY:
31.96 GB
VIDEO CARD MODEL:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560
VIDEO CARD MEMORY:
3.97 GB
Yeah, the BCLK affects pretty much all of your busses, from RAM to PCIE, be super careful touching it as you can potentially fry components very easily.
Oh, and for the record:
CPU : Intel 2500k OC to 4.0ghz
GPU: HD6870 ASUS Overclock Edition
RAM: 2x4GB G.Skill 1600MHz
Motherboard: Asrock Z68 Extreme Gen3
Case: Thermaltake Black Dokker (stupid name, but had the clearance and fan slots that I wanted for under $70)
PSU: Old 600w passed down from my old PC, cant remember what brand it is off the top of my head.
Peripherals: Razer Deathadder V2, CMStorm Quickfire Rapid (Black Switch Edition) Mechanical Keyboard, Steelseries Oversized Mousepad/White-Ra Special Tactics mousepad (for home and travel respectively), Microsoft LX-3000 Lifechat Headset (Cheapest Headset with decent levels of comfort and microphone quality i've found).
What needs work:
Buying + Installing a non-stock cooler (looking at the hyper 212+, any recommendations at bang for your buck currently in Melbourne?)
Upgrading RAM to 16GB
Cable Management System (Dear god is it a mess in there, probably need to get a new PSU to do so, as the current one is reasonably old now and the cables dont quite reach as far as i would like)
Getting two 120mm case fans to finish off my fan complement
The Bang for the buck normally is the Hyper 212 (EVO, Plus...etc) like what I'm using right now. It's a big step up from a stock cooler from Intel which sucks... My stock cooler is already damaged after a year in use.

Can't remember any of the other specifics off the top of my head. Looking at the games coming out these days though, and it just barely hits the minimum requirements.
I'm hoping to upgrade sometime in the next couple of months, if I can justify the cost.
That post is from September last year... made on the same computer this post is. I guess a couple of months is more than 12.
Built this little thing last week: my slightly tall shoebox of joy. A bootbox perhaps.
Silverstone SG06 (came with SF45 PSU).
Gigabyte Z77N-Wifi
i5 3570k, stock cooler
8GB ram (640K may not be enough for everyone but I'll be damned if 8G isn't enough for me)
Galaxy GTX670 2GB (reference design because the ones with decent coolers are too long to fit)
120GB Intel 330 SSD
1TB WD Green 3.5" HDD (from previous PC)
Was a fun build, my tetris prowess came in handy getting the video card in the case. The manufacturer says it only takes 9" cards but some random guy on the internet said 10"ers fit, and we all know to always trust the internet. Turned out well - there's even a good cm of free space once you actually find the correct path to lever it in.
Cabling is a complete mess but meh, airflow seems good enough for stock speeds.
