haha no... I just suck, and I rush through the main quest, so my character is weak and keeps getting beaten up by this ice troll going up to High Hrathgir. Need to go do some side quests and go up a level or two first, methinks.
yeah I'm getting beaten up by dudes in a cave after having followed some dude down into this cave to see what he was up to me thinks i need to level up a bit more before i go back down there. level 21 rocking the steel still, I'm like level 60 or so smithing I believe so i should really make some better stuff.
Haha BsK. I don't have the time to play the game of the money to buy it. Also, don't really have the inclination. Just thought the calculator would be of interest to other people.
I'll probably grab the Game of the Year Edition down the track so I don't have to worry about DLC at all, and there are decent mods for the UI.
I'll be investing future perks into enchanting and alchemy, looking to build a master blacksmith/enchanter with self made potions to create those OP gear that gives thousands of attack and thousands of armor
o.O you're already level 60+? Thats some hardcore grinding.
Nah, I'm only 37. I'm looking forward to doing this build. Currently have enchanting, smithing, heavy armor, 1-h and block almost maxed (85+ on each skill). Next for me is alchemy and small utility perks, like archery and some resto. Then it's will be only alteration left, which I'm going to powerlevel through training and grinding probably.

i was doing only side quests for ages and lvling my crafting, i was lvl 50 before i finally decided to go and do the main quest because i just wanted to stop playing and get back to starcraft lol and now i suck at starcraft =(
this is my build http://skyrimcalculator.com/#9541 i was an archer at first and then got a bit bored of it so i started duel wielding
I just don't know who to side with in this war. The imperials pissed me off at the start, but after getting to know Ulfric better... well he seems like a bit of a d***. Such a hard choice heh.
Loving playing a mage though. Either I or my antroch burn everything to the ground! As long as they attacked me first
Sided with Ulfriic because at least the Stormcloaks didn't decide to behead me for literally no reason. I think it's a flaw of the game that people don't think that part through a bit more, the game starts with you having to decide to join the people who almost behead you or the other guys. How bad could the other guys be? At least they wait until I do something actually worth a beheading like killing chickens.
And I feel I made the right choice siding with Ralof because the first thing he does after we escape from the tutorial place is introduce me to his attractive welcoming viking sister. I think I like this rebellion!
Race: Orc.
Main skills: Smithing. 2 handed weapons. Heavy Armour
Other points of interest. Enchantment? ENCHANTMENT! A dash of restoration too.
I got 100 smithing pretty fast after accidentally discovering how to abuse the system and then figuring "eh, why not?" so now I have some Legendary Dragon Bone Armour. People don't seem to react to it though. I thought it was kinda funny with one quest you have to give some of your equipment to an NPC so he can smuggle it in and give it to you later. He suggested I take stuff that allows me to move silently and kill quickly.
So I gave him half a ton of dragon metal, leather straps and my Greatsword. He didn't seem to comment on this being the most retarded fkucing idea he'd ever heard.
Killing dragons isn't really too interesting which sucks because the sudden introduction of one is pretty cool. You're out and about and suddenly you see a winged shadow whip across the ground. You glance upwards and there it is! It emits a roar and implies true threat and menace! You unsheath your weapon and wait for it to land. This is your destiny, the role of the Dovahkhin!
At which point I flick on Beserker Rage, walk up to it and mash m1 until it dies, not caring about it's attacks or the unblockable fire it breaths. There's no tricks, no particular weaknesses, no multiple stages, no fancy maneuvers, you just walk up to the ****** and break your left mouse button on it's face. Yawn. For the central point of interest for the game, it's a bit underwhelming. And they're bloody easy to kill too! I got so bored of one halfway through it's health bar I put the greatsword away and decided to do this the good ol' fashioned way and I still won really easily.
It's also really weird that there are these giants everywhere who are vastly more dangerous then dragons. Why is everyone afraid of dragons when the Giants could actually conquer everything? I guess the fact that they do not do this on a regular basis may have something to do about it but it still seems inconsistent.
The lack of character creation or any sort of base stat like Strength, Endurance felt really offputting at the start. It feels so weird that my righteous bonehead orc could turn into diabolical mass fireball murderer pretty much instantly. In fact, I do have a hard time feeling really immersed in Skyrim, but it's decent fun so far and I'm enjoying it. I had a lot more fun with some other games this year (portal 2, Bastion and DX:HR to some extent) but this is pretty good.

See I choose Ralof at the start, precisely because he didn't want to chop my head off. But after seeing Winterhold and talking to people there, I found out Ulfric ain't such a great guy himself! Hence my dilemma! Side with the people who you know are jerks up front or the guy you only find out is a jerk after awhile of helping his cause.
Good points made by Iaguz
The game has many exploits both minor and game breaking
The dragon fights are kinda cool but also kinda meh. I have seen fire and ice dragons but apart from aesthetics there isn't much difference. I do like how once you do enough damage they crash into the ground.
Looking forward to some mods for interface though
And yeah I hate how I have quest for join imperials and join rebellion - i'm totally uninterested in both sides :P
Gf plays more of this game than me.. Not kidding.. She's a level 9 high elf Mage speccing in destruction, light amr and speech. She's stuck with something to do with a lexicon and the elder scroll or something, if anyone knows wtf to do pm me. I've been taking my time doing a lot of side quests, I'm a level 11 orc speccing in heavy amr, smithing, one handed and speech
Same here Hut. My gf plays it a lot more than I do. I'm level 9 she's about 25.
