Nozoki Ana is actually pretty good. Though the anime adaption was god awful. I started Kangokuu Gakuen a while back and it was pretty good, I might get around to continuing it sometime these holidays.

Ultimate/OVA is the same... it just has none of the character that made the original so cool. Could never enjoy it.

`The story was pretty shit, but the characters and the music and everything just oozed cool... The newer version was so much more refined, but the story at least started the same and had none of the cool, so I stopped watching pretty fast.

Put the time in; its just glazes over the stuff that had already been done (the same as how the original FMA starts off so much stronger then Brotherhood.) Ultimate is far far better both story and character wise.

TO BE HONEST (I'll counter everyone's popular opinion and be the black sheep)

I feel that the series was waaaay too hyped. I mean, the trailers were great - very little talking, great music, and combat scenes; the combat scenes were godly great!

but the episode itself... Wasn't as good as I thought it would be. The fight scenes and and music was still good. The storyline as well was very nice. But I feel the voices and conversations were nowhere as good as it could have mean, and it's just awkward to watch, as if it was animated by someone who was in a medium level animation class

and there were moments, which were really silly. I mean, Ruby had shown signs of shyness before talking to that university's principal, and if she knew that he was the principal, I'd hardly think she'd so openly blurt out her life story like she did :/
I dunno, it just makes me feel like it's really unnatural... >.>

So like.. I've watched all the 15 released episodes of Attack on Titan and I'm just waiting on Saturday's episode..

HOWEVER...
Because I'm really wanting to know what happened after that episode can anyone direct me to which chapter I start reading from in the manga? ;;

Also this series is freaking awesome. 10/10 so far.

it's a pretty good combination of all the kind of elements from the other shonen put into one tight package of awesomeness

Well, to be honest I feel that each monthly chapter of the manga is more interesting than three or four of the recent episodes (although I've not watched the latest few episodes so I'm not certain as to how interesting they are :P).
Also, I don't really feel the month-long wait for each new chapter, because I'm always reading some other manga :P
Although at the start of every month there's like 6 or so new chapters for me to read, but even if there's nothing new to read, I'm halfway through around 4 different mangas to read. So I'm never really completely lacking anything to do in regards to the manga :P

Few episodes into DxD.... I knew there was going to be boob, but wow, so much boob. Actually think it detracts from the show.

That said, story is actually some what decent and enjoyable.
