Hey guys, my name's Peter and my handle's JKBX.

Singaporean, 20 and waiting for NS. I love Starcraft: BW and Starcraft 2. Actually, i haven't learnt about it until early last year, until i saw HuskyStarCraft (great fun on youtube) and got hooked. Then i had an epiphany that i actually tried BW when i was like 10 years old in a random lanshop somewhere in Bukit Batok.

Now, i'm wanting to learn more about the community of SC2 in SEA, i don't actually have the game yet. Considering to buy. Do hit me up with great places to get it from!

Hey guys, My name is Naomi (most commonly known as Nom)
I'm 19 live in Australia, with Deth

(I'm his gf.)
Starcraft has been the first RTS that iv'e played. Played a fair amount of original Starcraft back when I was at school (final year), the year after i volunteered for Xin Gaming events in Melbourne. (:P Thats when I met Deth.) Played a couple of 2v2's together but didn't have the confidence to play 1v1.. (Because Deth picks on my "Starcraft faces" and I feel a bit intimidated being watched behind my back.

)

Reasons why I decided to join sc2sea was to gain my confidence. So I can actually play the game without Deth distracting me and not be forever bronze.

Hi Just joined here so I can play on the korean server and improve, I play protoss atm on the NA server. HOpefully I get the key soon so I can try my luck on the korean server.

Hi, My name is Matt, 16 Male Darwin Australia. I can't really tell what my skill level is since I am gold on NA and Bronze on SEA. I have become heavily in love with the game recently, I bought it about 2 months after release but I have being giving it a hammering since about November last year, I am making a transition from competitive Counter-Strike: Source to Starcraft 2 as I don't feel I can really obligate myself to a team at all and counter-strike just has become boring and crappy with recent updates... Probably the most experience I have had with competitive Starcraft 2 was at the last Sydney Gamers League LAN in the division of Bronze Silver and Gold(which I failed dismally) and I am very certain being in a competitive environment and community will help me hone my skills alot quicker

Im Leg, from Aus, i play terran @ low masters
Been playing for a year or so now, also a big fan of watching pro stuff
Few of my buddies used to play, but pretty much only me left now, so going to try and find some regulars to prac with, maybe join a clan?
Usually on a couple of nights a week, need to work on mid/late game lots

Hey everyone,
My name is Chris, I'm a 19 year old student studying screen and media , from Victoria, Australia.
Only been playing sc2 for about a week and a bit and really enjoy it.
Switched over from competitive Halo Reach because the community just isn't there and the game has lost it's player base.
Never played an RTS before so it was a bit of leap coming over to this game having no idea what anything did.
I use Terran because I recognized marines from halo (noob I know haha).

Currently just playing vs AI a lot, consistently beating it on very hard slowly moving into my placement games in 1v1s. Skipped practice league due to not being able to find any games.

I need people to play with though as it gets quite boring playing by yourself when you don't really know what you're doing.
So people add me if you want to play with me and show me the ropes.

My name is Dan, I live in Sydney, Australia. I have been playing sc2 for a while now, only started laddering in the last few weeks, I am a bronze protoss player atm. I used to play SC1 and BW back in the day but that was years ago and it was never playing multiplayer.

I hope to one day, when I get better, to go into competitions and just have fun.

Hello,

My name is Brett. 22 year old at Canterbury Uni. It's been a slow climb for me from Bronze to Diamond, due to lack of 1v1 motivation I feel. I would play solid for a week or two, then ease off and lose some skill/ game sense. Since hitting Diamond I've found much more willingness to play and feel I am improving at a much faster rate.

I'll tell you a story that actually led me to find out about this forum. Long ago when I was Platinum, I met and practised with a Platinum Zerg player called Petraeus. We played a few games and I actually beat him about 50/50.

Not too long ago, I heard about a tournament in Auckland, and watching Flamga's stream of it I saw a player called Petraeus in the finals, and was like WTF that can't be the same guy I played. So I checked my friends list, and found out that Petraeus was a GM! He went from plat to GM in the time I went from plat to diamond! I doubt he'd even remember me, I think I changed my name since then too. BUT I REMEMBER BEATING YOU PETRAEUS!>>!!11

So I thought, this is pathetic, start playing some actual games and make it to Masters. So that's my short-mid term goal, make it to Masters on SEA and NA. Hopefully I'll find some nice people/clan to play with here!
