You can use sc2 gears to find out what your "real" amp is

spamming helps you improve apm but spamming usually is just to warm up your hands. 100apm is enough to build everything and micro.

If I recall correctly, your "real apm" is now labelled under EPM in game. Mine's about 100 or lower, I think it's enough.

i think i have around 120 epm and its not as good as i want but its pretty enough for top 16 gm in sea so i think fs battle toaster focus on other things except apm

I never really look but I know its not high.. I can sit comfortably over 100 but mostly because I switch between rax and ccs as a nervous twitch lol. I would think it'd be better to be more accurate than fast. like sending a army and clicking the same spot 5 to 10 times when 1 will not make them move any slower lol.

Sometimes clicking 5-10 times make it slower because you reset the pathing each time.

Im a and my APM is about 40-75. I can reach about 130 in micro custom games, but can never quite pull off that in a ladder match. It's probably because I panic in game.

here. normally average about 80, in engagements 150-200 (both APM/EPM) though that's going off replay data, not sc2gears.
Only just coming back off a loooooonnnng break so i'm trying to go pretty quickly and could probably lose a bit off a regular game

Diamond at the moment; my sc2gears APM is around 190-ish, in-game it's 150-ish and the new EAPM in-game is around 100-ish.

The very first time I hit Gold was as Protoss in season 2 or 3, I was probably playing at like... 40 apm. If that.

Hahahaha. Just checked this out. Currently (forever) and I have an incredible EAPM average of 30. I think I peaked at an EAPM of 180-ish at one point and get over 100 every now and again. That being said, when I'm doing stuff it hovers between 30 and 60.

now my apm when i actually do things is around 100-120 but most of the best players still have around 150 so im trying to hit 150 thats my goal

I get around 210-220 according to sc2gears. Ingame measurement I think EPM is 115-130 and APM 150-170.

I figure it's a pretty meaningless statistic at least for me, since whenever I lose it's because I did something dumb, not because I didn't do the dumb thing quickly enough.
