For me Attack On Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) is probably show of the season. The first episode had me completely hooked. ^_^

They confirmed that they are definitely screening the film beforehand, Mamoru Hosoda is the Director, he also directed Digimon:The Movie & Summer Wars (among others).
