Pet, you just need to explain it here the same way you explained it to me during the event when I congratulated you and asked you how you were getting to Aus.

Your response was reasonable and makes sense - Petraeus's Brother lives over here, he will already be in the country visiting him. So a short flight down to Sydney for EB Expo is easy for him.

Okay, so he is coming. Also, no one questioned Frustration - who has an equal distance and flight expenses to come over here. No need to pick on Pet. Players will find a way there.

Finally, if some have to pull out (some of the qualified players could win IESF and be in Korea during EB Expo finals) so if there are spots available, the 9th-12th spot players from each bracket will go into a 8 man double elim final or round robin or what ever to determine who gets the seed(s).

EDIT: Making an assumption that someone from another country (who has never attended an Australian event before) who is not supported by a team would not make the trip to Australia for a qualifier is NOT a personal attack. It's a logical conclusion. **** people. Using him as an example of people who probably won't be able to attend isn't offensive. Most people would draw the same initial conclusion.

Out of the 8 players that qualified from the first event, only 1 has confirmed they are not attending. Their spot will be given to a player who placed 9th-12th.

To be fair, everyone knows that Petraeus is going to react when something like that is said. I assume Mafia never intended it to be an attack on Petraeus because Mafia just ain't that type of guy.

BUT and I am guilty of this myself, we all know how to push Pets buttons and get him fired up and talking shit. I realise he doesn't always handle every situation maturely, but he is 16 years old. When I was his age I didn't handle anything maturely at all and it is simply unfair to expect him to act like an adult 24/7 infact, we should encourage him to have the freedoms of youth before he has to deal with the cold harsh reality of being an adult and dealing with shit constantly.

I think, people have a lot of preconceived misconceptions about Pet because of his past behaviour. I know he can be bad manner and angry sometimes but I also know him personally very well and that he is working on these things. He is trying to cool it and not care as much, to not react or be bad manner or say things that are poorly worded and full of emotion.

Christ, he talks as much shit to me as he does to anyone else, possibly more, but I also know he works his ass off and wants to be the best and has spent so much time committing to those dreams he hasn't had the socialization a lot of us have had.

I think a lot of what he says is due to the fact he simply gets too angry or frustrated to step back and word things properly. He is WELL AWARE of how his behaviour effects himself and others and is working on changing but a little empathy would go a long way.

Its true that I do get frustrated easily but I see this as a personal fault, there are plenty of people my age that handle their anger better.

Ok, so I made that post when I left my house this morning... now that I've had a chance to catch up on everything, I have no idea why everyones gone full retard over something as little and harmless as what I've said directed at Petraeus...
Dox/Rogue basically summed it up pretty well, as for Chad I singled pet out because I consider him a closer friend than anyone else that I didn't thinks going on the list, ie Bard, Fustration... as for Pet, I wasn't trying to offend you or make it a personal attack or anything, try to lighten up and stop getting so mad, you should know better and that I'm actually more than happy for you especially if you end up coming... There isn't any need to act like that, to be honest I just wanted to know what the deal was if ppl no-showed, but I saw pets name in the qualified players list and I guess I wanted to tease/make fun of him because I really didn't think he'd come, so I'm sorry for being a bully... I had no idea you had anger management issues so I will refrain from trying to make fun of you again, truly sorry!
