"The Glass Prison" is one of my favorite songs. Part of a 5 song series (all of which add up to be longer than most normal albums when played back to back) spanning 5 different albums about Mike Portnoy, the former drummer of the band, and his battle against alcoholism. Very deep stuff.
24 minutes for this last one Have to listen to it at least twice to fully appreciate it, didn't like it too much the first time but grows on me more and more even now when I listen to it.
Might go to Soundwave. Bands I would be interested in seeing: Sylosis, A Perfect Circle and Periphery. Bands I might catch: Metallica, Linkin Park, Mindless Self indulgence, Tomahawk and Six Feet Under.
But with Bring Me the Horizon and Bullet For My Valentine being there, I can see the crowd being full of douches.
The Drummer, SC2 Zerg gosu SmokyMcPot - newest member of TA.. is in an awesome band, Tria Mera, They opened the main stage at SoundWave a few years ago..
Also, Doble played some tria mera on the WCS stream, Smoky was in the crowd and didn't know - was very happy when he heard his own song playing..
Check them out - Tria Mera.
Go for sylosis. I saw them live when they were kinda new at sonisphere in the u.k, they were awesome.
Sadly I could go when they played here.
Linkin park were pretty bad live...I liked the first two albums, way back when I was in school..and even though I had kinda moved on from it, I still enjoy it from time to time, but they were so bad live.Besides chester decided to play stuff from his solo project in the middle, which was not very good either.
But metallica and mastodon made up for it later.

The Amity Affliction anyone? I've loved a fair few metal bands in recent years but none has stuck with me so permanently as Amity. They're also from the Sunshine Coast of QLD, which is awesome!
